The vast majority of violence is still male on male though.

David Webster It depends on the guys. I mean, the type of guys that would jump anyone aren't exactly smart/strong guys. The guys who are even too scared to go for men and instead jump women? Never mind no training, they've probably never lifted anything heavier then their own dick.But a fit guy with no training? You'd be surprised, they could absolutely beat her. Not because she isn't a great fighter, but simply due to genetic differences. I mean, an average height fit guy could have 50 lbs more muscle that her, be taller and weigh significantly more. That's a lot. She would struggle to knock them off her feet, she'd struggle to hurt them significantly with punches, and their punches could knock her out quick. This is all assuming the story is true though, which I doubt. Just the story about a couple of random guys jumping her in a movie theater? Sounds a bit made up.

Kabloosh Most men are a lot bigger then her and would crush her, she knows this as admitted in newspapers. She is small, even for a woman, to find a man to fight her, you would need to find an extremely small guy, even then she would probably not stand a chance. Sure, I bet she can beat most untrained men her size at 5'7 135 lbs.... but that isn't really saying much. I am not a fighter in any sort of way, most guys can probably kick my ass, however, at 6'3 220 lbs Rhonad Rousey would not stand a chance against me, I would crush her.

The average male UFC fighter faces a hell of a lot more competition. Very few women have the desire to become a cage fighter. An analogy will help. Being the female UFC champion is like being the high school football champ in Wyoming. Being the average male UFC fighter is like coming in 10th place at Nationals.

Okay, it's becoming clear there are many men on here who, for numerous reasons, are not aware that this world has changed greatly; Folks, there are young women out there now who are huge, very strong and extremely violent. I realize it's hard for a lot of men to get it through their heads that they could actually lose a fight to a woman. Men often seem to have this image in their minds of the 5, 7" and 130 lbs woman, but I've seen many, well, for example, young black women nearly 6 feet and over 200lbs, a person that large and more importantly not afraid and steeped in a culture of violence can really do some damage

I think I got a better idea. How about Ronda stop taking steroids and than see how well she does. All the make up and off season interviews can't hide the fact that shes roiding. You can see it the most in her fights.

renaissancemen1 Absolutely. It's easy to get around steroid tests, so if you don't roid, then your competition will and have a huge advantage over you. You simply can't compete in the top levels of anything that requires strength, speed, or stamina without roiding. It's hard to believe how many naive people don't understand this.

Some people take more than others, and some peoples bodies take to the steroids better than others. Strip steroids away and the modern praised athlete wouldn't be as great as people think.

It is really funny to me when I see guys saying there is no way a woman can beat them in a fight. I have seen it many times as a matter of fact saw this one girl I know take out a whole bar of guys probably like 12 guys & 6 girls blood every where but she was fine. She hit like a man but she was very good looking. I saw her after work one night hit a really big guy & he went flying a\cross the hood of his car & was out cold. Now I will say this she was a coke head at the time.

Yes, there are women who can hand a man's ass to him. Personally, I would not want my ass kicked by a woman, I don't care how attractive she is. Not because that would be humiliating but because I care to much about my physical well being. To guys wanting to get roughed up by Ronda Rousey (or just any female fighter in general), is a bloody nose, busted lip, black eye or broken bone going to be worth it in the long run? Bragging about such injuries under the circumstances is just pure stupidity.

Some insecure men on the commentary. Some men can't handle it went there is some women who are capable of overpowering some of the men of the human species.

5 guys is just a blatant lie. 2 guys that are wimpy and have no fighting experience is understandable, but no way she can beat even an average mma fighter male. No way. That's like saying the best female wNBA player can beat an NBA bench player or that the strongest female marine can beat an average marine.

Ronda could kill your average man but, an average male MMA would destroy her in under a minute.

I completely agree. I even think male professional mma fighters that are below average (losing records) would beat her. She just isn't strong enough vs a male with similar training.

Tom Smith You guys wanna see many hard core fighters? Look at the Muy Thai fighters and the Burmese Boxers. They'll give the UFC people a lot of competition. They may not nessisarily win, but it will be good competetion.
