    if you think men and women are "equal" try showing an interview of a male mma fighter boasting about beating up a group of women

    keithlemon2010 she wasn't boasting. she was asked about fighting a man and mentioned she had before, then was asked to elaborate. men don't boast about beating up women because we see them as frail.

    Tyson was 4in taller and almost 200% of her weight. He could just grab her and snap her in two. One punch from tyson in his prime would knock her out for a decade. You think she's ever been hit anywhere near as hard as a heavyweight professional male boxer vs 130lb women with small hands and less dense bones can hit ?

    Lol. Knock her out for a decade. Haha. That's what I mean. People need to wake up. She can only compare her technical knowledge of the art. She cannot compare to any ''average'' male fighter on a physically competitive level. It's as simple as that.

    ChuckyPabbyRogue OP pointing out a valid media hypocrisy, violence should not be fun regardless of which gender does it to which. The situation discussed in this video is valid self-defence though, they'd already put their hands on her. By the way, more than 40% of domestic violence victims are male. Street violence is also perpetrated by women against men though to a lesser degree. "Except that happens " is a moronic rebuttal to the OP, just recognize it happens to both sexes by both sexes. The vast majority of violence is still male on male though.

  • @ChuckyPabbyRogue

    @ChuckyPabbyRogue

    9 жыл бұрын

    No he didn't. He pulled a typical "what if it was reversed" comment that seems to be on every single video containing violence and women in ANY context. There ARE videos of men beating up women so you need to stop being a shit stirrer and pretending that men are huge gentleman when the majority are not. And you're wrong. www.americanbar.org/groups/domestic_violence/resources/statistics.html Those are statistics from the Department of Justice. Male rape and abuse victims are MAINLY (not all, but MAINLY) raped and abused by men. And the majority of women who abuse (not all, majority) did so in self defence.

  • @Blueswailer

    @Blueswailer

    9 жыл бұрын

    ChuckyPabbyRogue Sorry buddy, but you can find statistics even from the US that contradict what you just put up. People just tend to find what they are looking for, thus cementing biases. There are also videos of women beating men, shooting men, whatever. That's not a valid argument. Besides, I wasn't talking about the US specifically, it's a well-known fact it's the most dysfunctional of the 1st world countries on almost every level. I was talking the global levels. Are you a neo-feminist?

  • @ppdrum

    @ppdrum

    9 жыл бұрын

    ChuckyPabbyRogue way to go to misconstrue my perfectly valid comment. Show me a video on youtube where a man has just admitted beating up a women and the interviewer is laughing at the fact. The statistics you quote are flawed due to the inconsistancy of the law applying the same to both genders. Also stop making stuff up. "And the majority of women who abuse (not all, majority) did so in self defence." nonsense.

    lehua nani This is all way too fucking funny, just to ignore... First of all: No you didn't, don't start lying now. Second of all: If you think saying a woman is hot is equal to sexualizing her, your life sounds boring as fuck. And how did I change the subject? Read the entire comment, woman. If anything, I added to it. The last part though is really the funniest. You do know that Ronda has done a nude photo shoot right? She once said in an interview that she has no problem with men watching women's mma because of the hot girls. You can talk shit all you want. But in the end you know yourself how sad and lonely you really are. (Or just a troll, don't really care either way.) I'm not even going to continue arguing with you. You're stupid in more ways than I thought were possible in a single person and my time is too valuable to be spent on you. So have fun being angry all the time if that's your thing and I hope life always spares me of women like you.

    David Webster It depends on the guys. I mean, the type of guys that would jump anyone aren't exactly smart/strong guys. The guys who are even too scared to go for men and instead jump women? Never mind no training, they've probably never lifted anything heavier then their own dick.But a fit guy with no training? You'd be surprised, they could absolutely beat her. Not because she isn't a great fighter, but simply due to genetic differences. I mean, an average height fit guy could have 50 lbs more muscle that her, be taller and weigh significantly more. That's a lot. She would struggle to knock them off her feet, she'd struggle to hurt them significantly with punches, and their punches could knock her out quick. This is all assuming the story is true though, which I doubt. Just the story about a couple of random guys jumping her in a movie theater? Sounds a bit made up.

She is small, even for a woman, to find a man to fight her, you would need to find an extremely small guy, even then she would probably not stand a chance. Sure, I bet she can beat most untrained men her size at 5'7 135 lbs.... but that isn't really saying much. I am not a fighter in any sort of way, most guys can probably kick my ass, however, at 6'3 220 lbs Rhonad Rousey would not stand a chance against me, I would crush her.

    The average male UFC fighter faces a hell of a lot more competition. Very few women have the desire to become a cage fighter. An analogy will help. Being the female UFC champion is like being the high school football champ in Wyoming. Being the average male UFC fighter is like coming in 10th place at Nationals.

I realize it's hard for a lot of men to get it through their heads that they could actually lose a fight to a woman. Men often seem to have this image in their minds of the 5, 7" and 130 lbs woman, but I've seen many, well, for example, young black women nearly 6 feet and over 200lbs, a person that large and more importantly not afraid and steeped in a culture of violence can really do some damage

Not because that would be humiliating but because I care to much about my physical well being. To guys wanting to get roughed up by Ronda Rousey (or just any female fighter in general), is a bloody nose, busted lip, black eye or broken bone going to be worth it in the long run? 5 guys is just a blatant lie. 2 guys that are wimpy and have no fighting experience is understandable, but no way she can beat even an average mma fighter male. No way. That's like saying the best female wNBA player can beat an NBA bench player or that the strongest female marine can beat an average marine.

    Ronda could kill your average man but, an average male MMA would destroy her in under a minute.

    I completely agree. I even think male professional mma fighters that are below average (losing records) would beat her. She just isn't strong enough vs a male with similar training.

    Tom Smith You guys wanna see many hard core fighters? Look at the Muy Thai fighters and the Burmese Boxers. They'll give the UFC people a lot of competition. They may not nessisarily win, but it will be good competetion.

    Good to see someone why breaks the stereotype of a dumb jock - she's a very articulate and intelligent person who's bound for great things inside and outside the ring.
