Excellent rendition , possibly truer to future events than the movies made so far, or even of the Star Trek utopian future. A nice touch was the "Africans" feasting on the ruins of old London.

Good short firm and very entertaining. This was actually closer to the real H.G. Wells classic story. In virtually all the movie versions, the time traveler rescues the Eloy and defeats the Morlocks, putting humanity back on track again. But in Wells tale, the time traveler did no such thing, and in the end of the story, he returned to his own time to live out his life. I have to say that I prefer the movie versions that make the traveler a hero who helps to save humanity and builds a new life for himself.

Yes he did return to his time in the end, but he didn't his life. He said he was going back to get proof, but has been missing for 3 years and the narrator was waiting for the TT to return, with his proof.
