no it wasn't the US feds simply went after them very hard the only major thing the sinaloans were successful in doing was killing Don Ramon aside from that which happened at the very end it was mainly the DEA that really brought them down if the feds weren't after the Arellanos so hard they proabably would have beat sinaloa, Benjamin and Amado were the 2 most wanted after the fall of guadlajara and despite a slight skirmish between them they were in talks to remerge organizations when amado passed away leaving Benjamin the most wanted from 97 until his capture in like 03 and even then the arellanos still held sway until they captured javier in like 07 or 08 which everyone knows the sinaloans snitched on him but it is what it is
