Sound Changes are Managed by Scenes and the Position of the Super Knob
Scene 1
Falling Star on Low C
LH: Pad, C# is a pedal note and is present in all chords when played as triads
RH: FM Wire Synth + Organ
G# to B Pitch Glide Notes
Scene 2
Intro Layer Super Knob in Zero Position
Set Superknob to 12 o'clock to solo the Rhodes
Scene 3
Sets Superknob to 4 o'clock for
Low: Synth, EP Layer
Mid: Brass Section
High: Chorus Rhythm Wire
Press Assign 1 for Moog Divebomb on A. Remember to disengage after use
Scene 4
Replaces Right Hand Sounds to Theremin
Scene 5
Press Scene 5 and Assign 2 Button for Froggy Sound on C#, anticipate as the change is quick!

Yamaha should pay you handsomely to show off the capabilities of the Montage/MODX using this performance. The flexibility using scenes and the superknob puts it ahead of its rivals - certainly the Nautilus/Fantom, possibly even the Kronos.

This is honestly the most intense programming I've seen for the Montage/MODX. I too plan on making tutorials like this. You're truly an inspiration. Been subbed to you for ages and I'm so happy to see someone actually go all the way with programming like this AND making such a stellar tutorial on it. I'd like to add that considering the arps will require a click, one could also consider creating a simple MIDI clip that sends PC/CC messages to change program, scenes, mod wheel, superknob and assignable switches - especially MODX/Montage M users who wouldn't be able to reach out to for the scene and Assignable 2 switch to get the frog bass sound. But props to you, man. Incredible work. 👍🏻 Also, yes, huge shoutout to Anthony Marinelli for his valuable insight on how these legendary sounds were created for keyboard enthusiasts like us. ❤

How do you mean by MIDI clip? Within the Montage or to be activated by an external controller or midi device?

@@narfsounds oh sorry for not clarifying. I meant through a DAW, yes. I use Ableton to do it. Meaning to do a tutorial on it soon. :)
