I started watching in 1971, circa "Mind Of Evil." The Keller Machine was really creepy! The first four Doctors were legendary, with the show peaking in the 70's, with viewing figures New Who can only dream of! Classic Who was so much better than New Who. Because they had a shoestring budget, they had to be creative and imaginative, and come up with great stories. New Who is style over substance. Take away the CGI, the deafening music, and the silly sex-xhange Doctor, and what have you got? ... A boring forgettable load of crap!

in my opinion the Third is the best classic Doctor, with the Second being a close... well, second.
Doctor: I don’t want to set the world on fir- TARDIS: That’s my queue!
1:32 - 1:34 best part
0:06-0:18 The disjointed editing in this scene always made it even funnier to me, for some reason.
Apparently, The third Doctor was Jon Pertwee having fun just being Jon Pertwee.
I liked John Pertwee the best.
it's moments like these which made Jon Pertwee my favorite Doctor(that and Jo Grant, and her beautiful scream! Hello 😍) Also, Jon Pertwee was some kind of Judo expert irl, and appeared in some martial arts action films of that period. He was the perfect blend of sweet, snarky, bitter, and kind-with a touch of good humor, when it came to his portrayal of the 3rd Doctor. but most of all...He wasn't even acting, he was just being himself!
Rolling a nat 20 for persuasion be like 0:06
The karate chops are the funniest thing ever
The first doctor series that I finished
One of the BEST. Inclusive of new Who, this guy is in my top 5- and I was born nearly 20 years after he left the show lol
Outstanding. It's time I did a Pertwee marathon again.
No doctors are ever wrong. I would like take a very big bit but they are actually the doctor everyone all of the actors
1:30 This is the first time I see this scene and can someone tell me if it's from an actual episode or a blooper? Cus that's the most adorable Three-Jo clip I've ever seen. I'm obsessed

Yep, that’s definitely the Doctor! 😂
Jon and Katy were the best team!
what the actual hell, i didn't know 3rd doctor is that hilarious, no wonder he was so popular
A gentleman and a scholar, with a bit of an attitude to him.
I miss the 3rd doctor so much.
JP was my Doctor. He was cool as ice.
I just love 2:42.

It's easy to see where 10 got his "inventive" nature from
RIP
Few more clips from the Silurians and Inferno would have been good. There's a bit in the former where he literally says he'd be happy if somebody died from the plague 😁
I loved him so!
weirdguy representation !!
That beginning with the eyebrows. Didnt 14th doctor mention that at the end of the 60 special?
Loved him still do, he gave the doctor humer .... 🙏👍🇬🇧💯 THANKS FELLA 🙏😍😊🗣️😇🧐✌️👁️☠️👁️

I've never compared 3 and 11 but i think you're on to something, funny since it's well known matt smith took after the 2nd doctor, like the 5th and 7th doctors before him.
No need for the black & white footage. Pertwee exists entirely in colour now. Nice compilation though. I like how he avoids shaking The Master's hand at the end.

I’m not sure. There’s been some rumours that some or all of Part One of Invasion Of The Dinosaurs has been recoloured by someone on KZread, But as yet the BBC only has a monochrome copy.

My first Doctor 😌
