Topdown shot looks perfectly fine on wrist. Another case of the importance of the L2L measurement being overly exaggerated. It’s fine

Thanks for your review. Have you tried the Casio G-Shock G-Steel GST-B600 series? They are quite small with case size (L× W× H): 41.4 × 42.3 × 11.4 mm and they look great.

If they were aiming this at the smaller wrist they got it all wrong. Short lug to lug is the way to go. I'll pass on this one.

I saw this watch at WindUp and I'd caution that the on-paper L2L measurement is very misleading. On the wrist, the watch looks *nothing* like how you expect a watch with a 56mm L2L to wear, much more like a 46 L2L. As far as comfort, you can see how the lugs curve down to hug the wrist instead of overhanging, but it sorta depends on whether your wrist is curved about the same as the watch or if it's a lot flatter or rounder.

Saw it yesterday in person, looks cool, but legibility is not that good

Lots of rights and these lug pieces are pretty cool, but Casio still misses the lug-to-lug thing. That's what really makes a watch smaller. Maybe if they made these same lug pieces fully articulated or something like that.

Does the light turn on with wrist movement?

Seems like Casio caught the big watch wave years ago by just adding more plastic around the same small displays.

I think it is not a watch for wrists under 7.5 inches 😅😂

I have the older gbd-200 with the MIP display and the GBX-100KI-1. I personally prefer the design of the GBD 200 over this elongated design. Even my mudmaster GG-B100 is smaller lug to lug,and is a connected watch with a step counter. Even the new GA 2300 is using this new design language with those big ugly lugs.

It’s one of those watches that I’m glad that exist, but personally wouldn’t buy

This watch is the perfect example of why I bought a PRX digital as my beater watch. Casio can't make an attractive or wearable GShock to save their lives. PS yes I know there's that one reference that is wearable and thin, one of 500,000 GShock models that I'm sure someone will be appalled I'm not remembering.

Apples and oranges. Casio is pretty loyal to G-Shock' design language, and it has been extremely successful overall in the past decades.

G-Shocks aren’t generally the most attractive watches, but this one is especially ugly.

My dady bought one #nkuwan and he loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when he went out with it.
