Been there done that.....the absolute best burgers in Texomaland hands down. With fast friendly service and good food and a great atmosphere, you just can't go wrong visiting MG's.

Love this place they do have excellent burgers and onion rings!!

Glad to see MG's on here. Been going there since the late 70s. Mom would take me there after soccer games at Fairview Park. They make an awesome chicken fried steak sandwich too

Been there a couple of times. I need to go back soon.

I had the Hot Rod Ford and it was awesome. The fried zucchini was good too.

The Sherman Bearcat football team goes to MG's every Saturday after film to enjoy the all you can eat burger special that takes place. One time Big Lee ate 11 burgers. Up until 2002, the rival Denison Yellow Jacket football team also did the same until one Saturday afternoon when they were asked to leave for trying to start a fight with the Sherman football team. Denison left and Sherman finished their burgers. The fight pursued 2 weeks later on the football field when Sherman hosted Denison in the annual Battle of the Axe game. More than just the coveted battle axe was at stake for this game...territory rights to MG's were on the line. Legendary Sherman Quarterback Phil Hill threw for 525 yards and defensive captain linebacker Nate Hale recorded 18 tackles, 7 sacks and 2 interceptions. The yellow Jackets tucked their tails between their legs, ran back to Denison, and have never been seen at MG's since.

MGs is good but sherman football sucks. Perennial losers! How Many state championships does sherman have? None. "Legendary quarterback" Phil Hill. Never heard of him

I think the Studebaker is probably a fiberglass mold otherwise that would take a wall of cement seriously thick to support the weight of the frontend.
