I hope Tesla suit have safety button or some sort if something happens. Maybe it's is not strong enough to hurt someone, but because is wireless and some wicked people can made program to control and hack the Tesla suit. I afraid when all sensation on max, the user cannot stop Tesla suit and paralyzed the body. I think it's can torment people with that

What he's saying is that these machines already exist - albeit in a less sexy package. They aren't super expensive either. In fact, if you have good insurance or live in a country with good health coverage your injury may just qualify you to loan one for free or buy one at a subsidies price. So if you need something like this for therapeutic reasons, check out that option and ask your doctor/insurance. It's not something you need to have special qualifications to operate. My grandmother had one. You just need some basic knowledge of where to put the electrical probes and then set the desired intensity and frequency/pattern.

I was just thinking that. My spine has been fused and the EMS tech now basically has 2 settings for serious spinal damage ( Oh God! The Pain! ) and ( Is it on yet?). Granted if you take the TENS units apart the materials are handy for a do-it-yourself project you just need constant and precise control.

It probably could help patients who need regular muscle therapy and the like, however everything has another side to it. Would could, or rather, is this already being used for military training of elite soldiers. Because let's face it, we probably won't even have the cure for cancer unless someone first succeeds in weaponizing it. It's a sad thought though, so I will look forward to hopefully watching the inevitable videos of "insert names walks for the first time after accident" or "insert name plays piano after being diagnosed with insert name"

You will gladly wear it thinking you’re into it for just the game. And then of course it would be impossible for you to realize the difference between the game and reality from that point on. Trust me, people in this field are the only ones who know how dangerous this piece of tech can be to anyone, but of course they will never tell you that out loud cause they want you to buy it. And when something wrong goes on they will simply say oh, remember that 50 page agreement you signed to get this tech, well it mentions all these risks and you agreed with it. You are responsible for anything that might result from the use of our tech. Congratulations for a few years in jail or whatever trouble you get into.

joy sujan There’s nothing to think about here. This tech literally means anyone who can hack it can make anybody else do whatever they want. And please don’t tell me they just need to make sure it’s safety system is strong enough, cause that’s bs. Any software system connected to the web can be and will be hacked. Why do you think security software is so expensive and so damn popular with the most frequency updates compared to all other software in the market? Cause they’re continuously finding ways to hack software systems that they didn’t think about before. Mock my words, this tech is way dangerous than what most people think.

While hacking is possible, theres only so much power a device can take in, and output. The "Hard Kick" she felt wants hard enough obviously, nor the explosion. The most a hacker could do is put everything on max and then break it, ruining the fun for someone who owns it. Im sure it doesnt have wifi, so hacking this is like hacking a remote controll. Not much you can do but send false signals for annoying pranks

  • @sanel5368

Vawn Would you agree with me that this suit could be improved to have a much higher power? Also, would you agree that most nerves coming from the brain to your entire body are in your spine, thus it is very possible to tweak a suite that simply controls your entire body using that area even with small power cause your body would interpret that info as coming from the brain? And of course they can make it super powerful? The possibilities are endless. I don’t mean to ruin the hype about this. But this kind of stuff is dangerous in my opinion.

@@sanel5368 i think you have been watching too much movies... our nerves are well insulated if you are a healthy individual... so to interrupt signals in our nerves would not be possible with this kind of tech. and if there was a tech to directly access our nerves in the way you are talking about then that would not be in public hands since those kind of tech would be very dangerous, not in the way you would be hacked but in a way you could be disabled if you do not use it in the right way like a lot of medical equipment that needs special operations are not in public hands.... The haptic suit in this video is simply stimulating your muscles with electric pulses. Not accessing your nerves. The most they could do is maybe immobilize you, or give a heart attack. but i doubt the regulators would pass for them to put lethal amount of voltage.

  • @vawn8512

@@sanel5368 Yes that could be possible and I understand where you're caution comes from, although this suit just isn't designed to be capable of that. Let me clear this up for you. First the signals that make your body move come directly from the brain, unless its a reflex in that case you don need to think about it you just do it, like blinking or reacting hot or sharp object. The spinal cord is more of an extension cord so these signals can reach farther and send back instructions to flinch or twitch so your body doesn't waste time asking the brain to react to something. Next think about how a defibrillator works to shock the heart verses this suit. She said the "hard kick" wasn't even that hard, compared to a defibrillator which people who have felt the shock say its like getting mule kicked. I'd take her tickle kick and massge over a donkey kick any day! This could be a fire hazard though lol

At first glance it looks like a 21st century torture device ;) But when you look deeper into its VR capabilities, it's really a great idea. The only problem is the name. Naming something almost the same like someone else named their company/product a few years ago is a very bad idea. It leads to confusion for potential customers and sometimes a lawsuit for the name-thief. There are so many other words in English to choose from...

jamiro grantsaan Are you serious?! There is no motors in that suit. It’s all electrical pulses to contract your muscles. So they just need to tweak it a bit more to get full muscle control. They can add a cap for your head to send simultaneous signals to specific muscles both from your brain and from the suite making it impossible for you to counter it no matter how hard you try. This is not science fiction it’s very doable. They don’t need to fully understand the brain. They can just track the nerves going down from the brain to your spine for example and send signals that are higher than the signals your brain would send to override that.
