I have been following the progress of humanoid robots , for use in a home caring role, for some time and my personal opinion is that, whilst I can see this robot being of use in a factory task role where simplicity and repetitive work are required, I cannot see it being capable of the endless tasks, details and variables needed to be a personal home care. I can see it being a companion, for conversation, but I have three types of desk robot and a phone app that all do this for a very low cost. I do hope, having said all that, that the robot will become capable as a home carer, and within my lifetime

They are so far away from home care without a engineer being there it's not even funny. Decades at the very least...

The narrator's comment "disappointing to see Tesla trying to reinvent everything themselves" regarding their software and suggesting they should join the ROS community was laughable. Elon's visions have an amazing track record of innovation and disruption.

Why no sale of the robots? Even Atari 2600 was released before 5200 and 7800. The current Tesla action being taken is layoffs, right? So why are Didget Robots "working" at Amazon? Why no driverless vehicles in all the States? Seems like an echo chamber of talk about talking and more talking. How about answers to "actual release date, actual cost, Universal Basic Income and taxation information with the cooperation of the U.S. Government, and when driverless vehicles will be in all the U.S. States? We all know this technology already exists because of DARPA. Why the waiting?
