The abandoned city of Mandalore is so reminiscent of Khazad-dûm/Moria and I love it.
Considering Mando technology is considered amongst the ranks of "The Good Stuff" the fact that they didn't have a planetary shield network was a major act of hubris on their part. Mandalorian Iron comes from only the one place that we know of. There should have been a massive defensive network that a planetary shield was just a single part of, to be frank.

Seeing the dark under cities and ruined cities is always haunting to watch. Just seeing everything built up only to be torn down and left in ruins is a tragedy and a dreadful sight. People complaining about Dins incompetence in this episode are forgetting the amount of times he was incompetetent in season one, two, and BOBF. Mild incompotence is a part of his character. To normal guys, he is a badass, but alongside other mandalorians he is just a normal guy. That is part of the reason he is so fun to follow. If he was an unstoppable action figure he wouldnt be as interesting. Isn’t that why so many people say they dislike Rey? Do you think that Commander MayDay possibly is CT-1226? He never got a true name in any canon, just known that he was in the first battle of Geonosis. Admiral Rampart told Crosshair that he was placed under a new Commander since Commander Cody was reported to be AWOL. The next mission we see involving Crosshair was him meeting MayDay. We live, in blessed harmony with the things that live in the spaces we try not to think about. Until we do. Until that space spreads, until the sun fades and those dark spaces are all that's left. Only then do we understand how fragile that harmony was, only then do we understand that the nightmares that scuttled out from under the bed at the end of it all, had been keeping us company all along. The Earth has those spaces too, forgotten echoes lost in the din of an ageless silence. We evolved in the sun, to be nourished by the light and all that to which it gave root but there are things that did not know the sun, that did not know the rain, or the touch of grass, or the kiss of the wind. Every single human being alive feels an overpowering wonder at the thought of a cave but buried beneath the complacency of the civilised mind is a shrieking alarm that knows full well what festers where light and love have no purchase. This world is a living thing, and those veins and arteries tunnel deep into the crust, into the very flesh of the Earth. There are sins down there that no holy book has hells for. Though, stay a while, you might learn why they don't need one.

It's one thing to hear about the devastation, but it's another to see it firsthand. When Bo-Katan mentioned reclaiming Mandalore back in season 2 many of us probably thought that while the damage was bad it couldn't have been that bad if they think they can get it back, plus as shown by Tattoni, even a planet that gets glassed by orbital bombardment can still recover and have a decent place for people to live, especially with how things seem to have improved under Boba Fett's leadership. But then we finally saw Mandalore for the first time in live-action and it wasn't as bad as I thought, it was a lot worse. It's heartbreaking, it feels like just yesterday we saw these streets bustling with life, shining with beauty, and being the sights of many decently epic battles where noble decent Mandalorians fought the ones that choose to side with the evil likes of Maul or the Empire. But now look at these streets, their decilent, their dark, their dingy, and home to some not-too-friendly creatures. It especially hurts when Bo-Katan starts reminiscing about it to Din and Grogu, about the good old days, when the city stood proud and some Jedi and Mandalorians even got along to help save the planet from the likes of Maul and the Empire, sure maybe things were great back then at times but it was still better then what the planet is now. The Empire destroys everything it touches, even itself as I talked about in yesterday's video on the new episode of The Bad Batch.

Mandalore has survived before, and it will survive again. But to do that, they need someone to guide their efforts, to protect their people, and to rebuild their civilization once again. the cyborg/droid one-eye thing might be like the mandalorian version of pickle-rick, one lone scientist driven mad by the destruction and desperate to survive. perhaps it was just trying to clone Din, planning to transplant it's brain from the droid head casing.

As you might know, the under city and the top city of Corusant kinda reminds me of between Piltover and Zaun from Arcane
Remember that you may live in the zombie infested bowels of a planet sized city... but you can always play a game of pazzak.
All I have to say is I love your videos
When I first saw it in the episode the planet reminded me of Malachor V as we saw it in KOTOR 2
I got goosebumps when din flew over the destroyed dome it was an amazing shot
the mythosaur was so cool cuz i know what it is from star wars books (republic commandos for the win) and channels like this. well, this and generation tech mostly. did think they were exinct though so its cool to see one alive
Like that Mando mob didn't do similar to others . Now play you're favourite music .
Geetsly: *taking about the horrors of the underworld of Coruscant. 40K fans: *laughs in Hive City*
I wouldn't mind sharing a city with those giant slug things.
This is the way! OYA MANDA! OYA MANDO'ADE!!!
The Nameless cyborg was a LITERAL Fallout General Grevious. There should have been deranged and glitching CIS battle droids around still following some command from THIER general.
I'm shipping ManBo!❤️ Looking forward to see how their relationship grow. 😆
What are the chances we might see the Taung species come back now that the Mythosaur are also back?

I kinda hope not, since at this point they've been "extinct" for like, 20,000 years.
I would like to know more about the cybork think that caputered Dinn, what the hell was that ...
a planet without a magnetic field would be made uninhabitable by the radiation from its parent star haha.
I would REALLY love to go Deep into Coruscant in Jedi Survivor
Bo Katan has been the same age for like 30 years

Some people age well. The fact that Bo-Katan looks roughly the same at 47 as she did at 16 is very impressive. She either has some very good genes or takes care of herself very well.
Must be something in the water.
When stuff like this happens, it's the biosphere that I care the most about
The issue with The Mandalorian is that the timing makes no sense. Din has never been to Mandalore and only knows the planet from tales. But Bo Katan knows what happens. And I would assume she‘s 40-50 in that show (if even that). While Din is ~30. So as a „true“ Mandalorian he would‘ve been to Mandalore and he would‘ve known about it. Sure. The children of the watch might have been banned from Mandalore but the Death Watch did attack and take over the planet for a while. And that might have been in his lifetime. So it‘s really weird that he‘s never been to Mandalore
This sadly enough is not the only horror that the Empire done, in Legends {Extended Universe}, you can find additional worlds suffered greatly by the hands of the Empire or other past wars. And yet other times there was society issues. Good ideas that doom a world, and for example we have the world of Raxus Prime, a beautiful world of lagoons and islands that was so beautiful it served as one of three capitals of the Kingdom of Cron, an ancient kingdom. It became a hub for manufacturing and technology, and over the centuries and reaching the era of the Galactic Empire. Once a beautiful world was heavily polluted and transformed into a planet size junkyard where all junk appears to go to be recycled, like the Empire used this world as a source of resources to build their Star Destroyers.
when 40k fans talk about exterminatus again, show them this
Din Djarin when he was getting into the water and reciting the creed didn't finished reciting before that monster got him.
If they bring in a Taung tribe, that would be insane
Every time mando hits the bye bye switch I get so hyped
We don't need to go to a galaxy far far away to see what happens when things collapse. Just go to Sudan or any of the small African nations.
This planet changes every time we see it its honestly sad how bad the mandalorians have it They are given this awesome land that would give the garden of eden a run for its money and then war almost imeadeatly breaks out amongst the population and its eventually settled by some degree only to be thrown into another war against the jedi which leads to even more discord in the planet once their main leader is killed not only dividing the planet by tribes and most not even staying to rebuild then they're plunged into yet another which they choose not to partake in but are being forced into it by every angle and eventually completely overthrown by a vengeful sith to get rid of him they are forced to accept the clones assistance which leads to an unwanted military garrison and on that very same day get thrown into imperial control and force their own people to work against them to counter their armor involving a superweapon that can disintegrate anyone wearing beskar so ofcourse they rise up and fight but that only gets them a 1 way ticket to a litteral planet glassing where everyone is killed and their planet basically getting crystallized and forcing everyone off the planet surface Just give these people a break
In which year played rebels on mandalore? Was it before the night of 1000 tears?

I think it's 2 years before Yavin
What I want to know is what was that robot and what was it planning to do with din
Bombarding mandalore is the best option. No more lame toy seller character from there
Mandalore looks similar to a world glassed by the covenant
