when i was younger i got this movie on dvd from the library as a joke and forced my brother to watch it with me while we were on a road trip. at school i left it in my friends lunchbag to see how she would react and she put it into her computer before her whole freaking computer crashed. to this day i still blame the movie for killing it

You know this movie is special when it looks worse than 10 minute blender animations. I laughed out loud several times due to how cursed some parts are.

Me and my cousins watched this as a joke, and we all wanted to die after watching it.

"I thought you were my friend... But you're nothing but aLIAR!!" has to be one of the best lines in the movie

Considering the abilities of these trolls, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think they are responsible for the numerous copyrights on this video.

Imagine the bond of the brothers in Onward that drives the story being turned into loathing; and you basically have Homeward. Interested in seeing what you might do with it.

I actually know who made some of the models. He's actually a good 3d artist and did the models because he was asked to by his friend. (the director) To make these. What sucks about this movie is the models look significantly better on his artstation portfolio. Which just shows how much the production of this movie sucks, the team picked a game engine to animate the characters. Ending up with super janky animation, really bad lighting, and out of place scenery, making the models look super uncanny and out of place. IDK what people should take from this comment but personally this movie is a good example of how even with good character models your movie can still suck ass for other reasons. (Like bad animation, scenery, writing, and lighting.) Also I just realized that another oddity from this movie is because of how disconnected the models are to everything else. It oddly makes the movie look like that the characters were green-screened.

The way they composited this makes me think the forest environment was rendered in some game engine and the characters were actually rendered with Maya. That much forest would actually take a lot of processing power with frame by frame computer animation, so with the $500 they had to make this movie there was no budget for a real render farm. Of course, the camera work does not line up, and there is no way any compositor would be able to make something good with two renders that never match up for an entire film like that.

Ok so they made the Lego movie, Dreamworks ripped off the toys to film popularity, Asylum ripped off the Trolls popularity, and now we’re just spiraling

The character designer for this movie has models of this nightmare on Artstation. Edit: "Oh my god, they're trolls who troll." I.....holy fuck, I just noticed that too. And they do look like the internet jokey idea of trolls too. THAT MAKES IT WORSE.

6:28 Fenn is wearing his creature power suit backwards. All jokes aside, this movie might have the worst graphics/animation I've ever seen. In multiple shots it looks like some things were poorly photoshopped onto the background.

Hey dazz, I know a really terrible cartoon movie! “Dog town”(2019) and “Dog town 2”(2022). It looks even more horrible than this one

I never normally say this so it means more when I say the animation is actually painful. The erratic movements, lazy prop placement and awful textures

In the original film the design style is quite daring since they look weird obviously the villains were going to be ugly but in this ripoff both the characters and the villains are not only ugly they are simply horrendous to the point where if he had created it the devil *what seems obvious* would give nightmares to himself

Why does the girl camp counselor look like they took the head from the default girl from Fortnite 💀

i remeber this movie, but not the name, they go one an journey to the nord( i think it was the nord) in a zepelin and end up geting stranded but later reunite with it in a foggy night( probably crashes) there was also somthing about a killer whale and a mayor scene i remember from it is that they change the propeller above water midflight and it ends up faling in the water, and a scene with escimos hanging on the ropes of the zepelin. can anyone tel me the name plz (btw it's not the red tent).
