    I had a teacher in the ‘80’s who saw Hendrix open for the Animals in the ‘60’s. He told me everyone just sat there in theater seats with their mouths hanging open like “wtf did we just see” and were too stunned to clap when he was done.

    That Sabbath footage looks like it came from ABC In Concert, which came on right after the 10 (or 11) o'clock news on Fridays, back in the mid-70s - it was on opposite the Midnight Special on NBC.

    @@deskducker I meant crazy as in cool, not crazy as in inconceivable. I know they must be in the same key to match and similar time signatures to be able to fit the way they do in terms of timing. Just think its neat how they conglomerate.

    Dude all the old stuff is underappreciated. Temptations, Four Tops, Smoky Robinson, etc.. I listened to them with my dad growing up but didn't truly "get it" until I switched from playing guitar to bass. Such good stuff!

    MastG definitely✊. I’m still straight mpc 1000, and two technics (an a microphone I guess), that’s it. You do some clean work. If I heard this on the radio I’d assume you had the stems from the original mix and resampled everything in mono. I’m serious. Be safe✌️✊.

    If you’re still down in the Sabbath hole, make sure that you don’t neglect the post-Ozzy era of Sabbath. There are some phenomenal songs and albums by Black Sabbath that weren’t sung by Ozzy.

    I cannot describe the pleasure this particular video brings me--I've watched it probably ten times over the past week. The seamlessness of the mashup, the cozy audience clapping along in perfect rhythm, Black Sabbath rocking on a rainbow stage, and The Temptations merrily dancing along...it's just too silly and bizarre not to be amazing in all of the best ways!

    This song reminds me of my dad. he'll never hear it but I know he would have instantly dug it for all it's worth and been laughing his ass off when the back up temptations clapped in time with the Sabbath riff.
