lol Cage at 5:47 the reason why the music gets softer instead of the banger from earlier is because Jin switches his fighting style from his grandfather’s Mishima Style to his Mother’s Kazama Style. It’s more elegant than aggressive as you notice your move set changes

After an outer space battle between an angel & a devil, the final battle takes place back on earth during a violent thunderstorm that is just classic old school Tekken

For those who are wondering who that was standing over Kazuya's body, that's Jun Kazama.

Actually this tease of Jun appearing is a bit of a mystery. Because the last time Jun was playable in any previous Tekken game was Tag Tournament 2. After that game, she disappeared.

I think jin and kazuya will team up thats what jun wanted and I also think the next villain will be reina taking revenge from kazuya for killing heihachi!?

For those who don’t know: Jin was trained the Kazama style by his mother and the Mishima style by his grandfather. In Tekken 3 he had a move set combined from both. After some plot events, Jin decided to drift away from those styles and adapt his own in later Tekken games. During this fight with Kazuya was a nice little nod and fan service to watch Jin come back to use his old styles in order to trick his father, since by now he must have got used to fight Jin and wouldn’t expect that. I think it also represents Jin embracing himself for who he truly is.

When Tekken 3 music started playing and Jin gained his Tekken 3 moveset. I lost it! SO GOOD!

I love this final fight because its no special powers, just straight boxin

Its weird how when you play Jin as a main in past games and in this story line there are multiple factors that change his style. When he uses Devil Jin movesets which are completely different When he has no access to the Devil Gene movesets in his base form And when he utilizes his angel form, Mishima and Kazama techniques in the end.

5:22 That is exactly how everyone felt when we played the final chapter, especially when the final battle is dragged out for so long, it just shows how tough these 2 mfs are even without their devil forms. I played this on the hardest difficulty with not special controls, and my god, changing movesets throughout the fight and adapting is definitely the most hype and fun I had when playing through the story mode.

Fun fact for anyone that not familiar to tekken lore. The mid credit section reveal that Reina is Kazuya & Lars sister (and Jin aunt). P/s : Yes Lars is Kazuya half brother also make him Jin's uncle.

You don’t have to purposely fail the QTEs, you literally just have to lose to Kazuya in the final phase. Tested it myself, and it worked.

This is like the story of BlazBlue Central Fiction. The hero fights the big villain who had reached his ultimate form. Tekken 8, Jin fights Kazuya who merged with Azazel. In BlazBlue Central Fiction, Ragna fights Terumi who merged with the Susano'o Unit. But then in both games, the villains go back to their human state for the true final battle.

The shoes at the end near Kazuya was Jun Kazama. Jin's mom is still alive! theirs a special story for her to do to see where she's been. Theirs also a Bad ending where Kazuya wins, it isnt canon though, despite what trolls try to say. Jins ending is the main ending. It isnt like MK.

Not everyone turns into devils, just people from the Mishima bloodline. So Jinpachi (introduced in Tekken 5) is Kazuya’s grandfather; he had the Devil gene. His son Heihachi was a regular human with crazy strength. He had a kid Kazuya with his wife Kazumi (introduced in Tekken 7) which had the Devil gene or something in her. Kazuya received devil powers after he was thrown down the cliff. Jin is Kazuya and Jin’s kid he was practically born with the devil Jin. Jun went missing on Tekken 3 (I didn’t fully play the story so I would have to play it at some point, I played all except 1 and 3). Heihachi had another kid Reina but not much was explained about her existence, the only logical reason for her existence if Heihachi had another kid with Kazumi but that would make Reina much older but she appears to be about jin’s age group

I didn’t finish watching yet but I bet you didn’t unlock both endings. It’s a bit of work to get to the point to the alt ending as well. Theres a good ending and bad ending

Edit: Let me say this: I don’t pretend that I’m good at MK1. Far from it. Mortal Kombat has always been my favorite franchise and while I’m not great at the game, I don’t constantly complain about it like y’all do. The problem is not Ed Boon or NRS or Warner Brothers. The problem is you. You suck at the game and rather than admitting that, you whine about it.

That was annoying. You played that joke of the music so long.

So I couldn’t tell if you were already noticing it while playing, but Jin was actually utilizing different martial arts from his entire bloodline and in the last 2 fights, he mixes all of them together to defeat his father. That is a genius move on the Tekken team to allow gameplay to represent a character’s progression and especially for Jin’s case who was done so dirty in Tekken 6 & 7. Jin fans were on their knees seeing their favorite character done so much justice in this story. Me included. That one line of Jin saying “I WANT TO LIVE!” brought a freaking tear to my eye. 🥲❤️🔥
