As a 90es kid, Ocarina of Time were the first video game I ever laid eyes upon, while the GBA port of A Link to The Past were the third video game I owned. I'm now closing in on 30 and still struggled with going to sleep every night because I were so excited to play more the next day. I genuinely never would have imagined that my cold old heart were even capable of that level of excitement anymore, yet Tears of The Kingdom proved me wrong.

I discovered Zelda when I was little and was in love with knights and stuff like that. So I found Zelda and completely fell in love with the game. And when Zelda BOTW come out with all its regions and weapons and upgradable armors it blew my mind. And now we’re 2 days away from the release of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and I’m shivering!

I love the series because of how much fun it is and the personal story you can tell in each one. I've always imagined my Link as the same link that pretends to have amnesia throughout the years and is sick of everyone around him saying he isn't worthy, even though he's proved his worth 10 times already

I'm one year older than Link (🤭). I played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the very first time when I was 13 (Those *BEAUTIFUL* N64 years!!!), while I was recovering from a tedious, almost traumatic surgery... and I immediately knew I was in front of a total masterpiece, an utter work of art. It helped me get through all my loooooong convalescence, and became my very first, *actual* English teacher, since my mother tongue is Spanish; I'm Mexican (and never been abroad... yet, unfortunately). I was a bit devastated when I knew Nintendo wasn't celebrating Link's anniversary the way they did with Mario's... Nevertheless, my absolute love for The Legend of Zelda franchise couldn't possibly be greater than it already is today. Well... in fact, it can, actually: I do believe everyday I love it more and more! 😍 Had I the honour of winning the *HUGE*, copious giveaway you've prepared for us, DeeBeeGeek, I'd be eternally grateful; words couldn't possibly be enough to express my gratitude, if I won. And even if I don't win it, you're the best. Every time I feel stressed or a bit down, your videos make me smile and laugh (too hard, sometimes); it's as if I had a good old friend far away, in Ireland, helping me through my stress or sadness. You're everything, man. Thank you for existing! 🫶🏼🫂🥇💕👏🏼🙌🏼❤️‍🔥🏆

This series just has that magic that I have not been able to find on any other video game series, it's incredible really. Zelda has been a family tradition, my big bro & my mom introduced me to this amazing world, I grew up playing all of the games My first game was A Link To The Past for the SNES, and my second was Oracle of Ages in the GBC, One of the reasons I fell in love with the franchise was the story of every game(even tho when I was I child I didn't understand anything haha but now that I do, I love it more) Another thing I love it's the music, I always find the soundtrack of each game fascinating But the thing I love the most is that to this day, we still share that love for Zelda games in my family, and we'll are excited for Tears of the Kingdom❤

The Legend of Zelda is one of the most important things in my life at the point that I can’t think of myself without thinking of it. I perfectly remember the day when I saw the box of ocarina of time at my local electronic store: I was 9, before that moment I had never chosen a game for my parents to buy, but for a sort of “divine prank” I felt I had to… the rest is history. The peerless feeling of adventure, the unforgettable characters, the stunning music, the compelling story and lore behind such an incredible saga really enriched my soul, and this feeling of enrichment I think is the best think a videogame can provide and that’s why I love the Zelda serie ❤

I became a fan as a kid when my brother purchased Ocarina of Time. The exploration, the puzzles, the mechanics, the humor and sadness inherent in every game... it's just such a dynamic and interesting series to play. So many Zelda games are iconic, genre-defining entries. Zelda I, Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild... game changers.

I need to have this. I've been playing since I was 10, thanks to my dad introducing me to majoras mask and ocarina of time on his 64. I'm 31 and been a fan ever since, even playing older games. I was so obsessed and still am with this series. It helped me get through my worst times in my life. Anytime I was depressed, zelda brought me out of it and made me happy. If I got this, I'd definitely be sharing it with my bff. ❤ Seeing you open this makes me think of how excited i was as a child at first discovery of the series. Shaking and excited. Zelda and Link bring alot of joy. Best video game series you can get into.

What has kept me a fan of the series for around 11 years now is the ambiance and the vibes it gives off. There's just something about its world that feels enchanting, even in its darkest versions. It's so rich, and even though people have called botw's hyrule empty, to me that emptiness has always felt so heavy, so purposeful that it never bothered me in any way. It was a hyrule that was grieving, but thriving nonetheless.

Ιf TotK capitalizes on the feeling of camaraderie and companions, it will be perfect thematically. In BotW, we saw a destroyed and distant Hyrule thus the "emptiness" was justified. In TotK, the same Hyrule rebuilds and all races fight together, as Hyrule is getting repopulated.

One of the things i love most about Zelda, it’s that throughout its history and many games… it has never disappointed. I’ve always been able to see the love and care behind every piece of story and character presented, and I’m sure Tears of the Kingdom will be the epitome of just that! ❤

I initially played BOTW and after loving everything about it, I went back to older Zelda games such as Wind Waker and Links awakening and fell in love with them as well! They’ve bought nothing but joy into my life over the last year and a half and brought me out of many dark moments. The series holds a special place in my heart ❤

Every time I pick up a Legend of Zelda game I have a wave of nostalgia come over me. Bringing me back to so many parts of my childhood where I was engulfed in the world with Link, Zelda and Ganon once again. It still has that excitement over me. The music, the visuals, the story. Just incredible!

Twilight princess was my first Zelda game when I was around 7 years old and now just thinking about it makes me nostalgic. It's played such an important part in my life ever since and is what made me love video games as much as I do today. I can't think of a series that holds as much significance for me as this one. Just listening to the main theme can make me tear up. It's just such a good series, it has everything, the soundtracks, the characters, the story, all the small details and love put into each game

I’m a fan because of the sheer amount of effort put into these games. The fact that Nintendo had so many ideas for botw that they made an entirely new game is so impressive. Another thing I enjoy about the series is the varying art styles in some of the different titles. I have to say that link’s new look in his green toga-like outfit is probably one of my favourites!

I've been playing Zelda games as long as I can remember. As a kid I had the original NES golden cartridge. The new steelbook reminds me of that actually. My whole life it's been one of the best series to give you the feeling of exploration and discovery, and botw was the biggest example of that, I can't wait, and hardly believe that tears of the kingdom is so close. Thanks for doing your zelda series, been great to see you explore hyrule.

I've been a Zelda fan since I played Ocarina of Time as kid. I've pretty much played all of them since then, but I enjoy that they made Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom fully open worlds to explore. I love the music and sound design of the games... It really helps immerse you in them and of course, you can immediately recognize Zelda music just from a few notes on most things.

I fell in love with the Zelda series because of the amazing music and art in the games. As a musician, Zelda soundtracks feel to me almost like a love letter to music. From Koji Kondo to Manaka Kataoka, they’ve always managed to integrate it into the games and stories almost seamlessly. Music becomes more than just the soundtrack, it becomes a character that’s part of the story. It elevates the sense of adventure.

I’ve been playing since I was a toddler, starting with A Link to the Past. It’s the lore, the characters, the music, the aesthetic, the story. It’s the whole thing. I lost a lot when growing up, and Zelda has been one of the few constants. It was a time I could spend bonding with my parents, and a source of community as I aged.
