Oh by the dark gods. Such an ironic turn for Bravestorm. Hmmm... I wonder if he falls in a similar fate as the dreadnought did. Withhim being like 600 years old (ancient for T'Au) and being slain by a younger fire warrior who scans him and discovers that he sooooo ancient.

He doesn't. Bravestorm is technically not dead, but might as well be now. His life support system was damaged in Arks of Omen when fighting Orks and he had to be put in stasis to survive, so he's effectively out of commission until further notice.

well im sure that the "tau version" will be more modern and comfy tho and with more flexibility and choices what makes the dreadfull dreadnought terrifying is also a fact that ti's not really a choice and not for convienience.

It works better if you have a Primarch or the Tau equivalent (Farsight) to raise your mood.
Bravestorm technically has it worse because the Earth Caste haven't figured out away to numb his pain without compromising his control of the suit. (They don't have system like the black carapace or the mind impulse unit to directly wire it to his brain, Instead it just operates off his nervous system kinda like how current prosthetics of today do)
@Hans-Kortz
Ай бұрын
They literally have a brain interface. They hook the suit up to the brain.
@Makorze

@@Hans-Kortz They do but he's so damaged they cant fit him with it. Plus his initial internment was kind of a rush order - they didnt even try and heal him up in a vat tank which would have helped him at the very least to grow his skin back but Nope they just stuck a dozen data feeds into him, some basic life support functions, sealed him in and sent him off to join Farsight. (Also to be clear - Marines in dreadnaughts do have means to suppress pain since some are more damaged than others tho some will turn it off to heighten thier battle rage. Bravestorm has none of that and is in constant pain. He likely mentions this because unlike the techpriests of man, the Earth Caste wouldnt engineer something that basically tortures the Firewarrior with it if they can avoid it.)

At that point, he's sitting there in the survival pod of his suit and thinks "... I get it now. That human was valuable enough as a Warrior they kept him alive to fight again and again. Like my own people are going to do with me."
I keep saying they should expand Tau Lore to include a Metal Caste for all the robot engram personalities they keep using. Drones. Aun'Va. Puretide. One of Farsights lieutenants...umm... Oblotai I think? They keep copy/pasting him into Tau tech. Oblotai 3.0

If you think about it tech wise. The tau are presently in their own golden age of technology. Still innovating and still fully understanding how their tech works.
@carlzerris6566
2 күн бұрын
I think they are sort of in the stage before the godlen age since they havent got any of the really wacky stuff yet. Yeah they had a warp drive but that didnt really work out. I dont think they can be in a golden age until they start producind really big battleships and something unique to them. Personally im thinking fully autonomous drone armies
The funny thing is, Bravestorms situtation is the most ideal (even if still not wanted) outcome for a white scar being interend. Putting aside 'xeno tech bad', crisis suits are faster, more manoverable, can fly and probably a bit more dexterous compared to a dreadnought so it would suit the whitescars combat doctrine pretty well.

I feel like there’s gonna be a men of iron type collapse for them, they just always seem so naive and I’m never quite sure if that’s the point behind their writing.

These stories don't have any consistency. It would be like the Americans seeing kamikaze pilots, thinking it's horrendous and then making Kamikaze pilots of their own. GW doesn't care though as long as they make money.
Though Bravestorm did manage to destroy that God-Machine. So he definitely went down like a CHAD. Only to be brought back as a Tau Dreadnaught.
