The thing that bugs me about being tall is that you're almost expected and pushed on by society to play basketball. Like depending on what family you're born into, being tall automatically means that you're going to be playing basketball. And those types of people raised with that mindset then proceed to ask me "do you play basketball." Where I then ask "Do you play basketball?" They say no, I say back to them "I don't either, that makes two of us. I'm tall, not a jock."

I can totally relate when she said ppl thought she wasnt disciplining her child. I have an 11yo with autism n intellectual deficiency disorder. His brain functions like a 3yo..a 3yo with autism at that!! So he has publc tantrums n meltdowns..he touches things in stores sometimes that hes not supposed to..he doesn't talk in full sentences n sometimes just points n makes noises..he has a hard time controlling the volume of his voice etc. He has absolutely no physical abnormalities so just looking at him you would never know anything is wrong with him. He looks like a "normal 11yo" Ive gotten the worst looks n comments in public n have gotten into verbal altercations with ppl bc they have made comments abt him or my parenting. The world is so harsh. This boy is a gem! He has the best personality n i hope he goes far in life. U are doing a great job mama. Sending tons of love❤❤

My son does NOT have any forms of gigantism, he just has really tall genes. I am 6’5” & dad is 6’2”. But my husband had an uncle that was 7’ tall. Our geneticist thinks Kota will be around 6’9-7’0 tall. He was a big baby too, born premature at 32 weeks & he was 6lbs 11oz & 19” long. My son is the sweetest kid, he gets treated like a teenager all the time, and when we tell people that he is only 10, they think we are lying. We’ve even been asked for his birth certificate when we went into an amusement park. It’s impossible for him to wear what other kids his age are wearing because he is sooo big. I worry about his shoe size getting too big too fast. He is already wearing a size 13 in men’s shoes. He also plays football & has a hard time being aggressive ❤
