The TALLEST BUILDING in EUROPE | Vlog in St. Petersburg, Russia
The tallest building in Europe is in Russia, the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg! My fellow KZreadr friend Niki Proshin and I went on a mission to get some pictures of the super-tall skyscraper for my Instagram.
The Lakhta Center tower is located north of the city, by the Begovaya Metro station at the end of the green line. Construction was completed a few years ago but it is still not fully operational, it is a work in progress. There’s going to be an Observation area near the top which I’m hoping to explore when it opens.
In today’s Vlog we eat a quick lunch at Tokyo City, a popular chain of restaurants here in St. Petersburg. Then, we head north on the metro and explore the 300 Years of St. Petersburg Park (Park 300-Letiya Sankt-Peterburga). I also fall in love with a beautiful Russian girl on the metro, I should’ve gotten her number. Hope you enjoyed this video from the tallest skyscraper in Russia and Europe.

Your vids show a St. Petersburg more beautiful that any others I have seen on-line. My great grandmother, mother's side, emigrated from St. Petersburg to Chicago in 1904.

I hope I can travel to Russia or live there in the future. Unfortunately, I am only 16 and I have to study for IGCSE. I love the design and environment of Saint Petersburg and look pretty convenient to travel especially affordable for foreigners to purchase goods. I really love your videos and it is more of an inspiration to travel.

Love your videos and the music is nice, not annoying like on some other videos. I love St. Petersburg and see it as the most beautiful city there. Moscow is just as fascinating. Thank you for showing others what a stunning country Russia is. I have always wanted to go but, now I think I will miss out as I am in my 70's.

Gazprom recently showed a project for a new Lakhta Center for St. Petersburg, 703 meters high. It will be the 2nd tallest building in the world with the tallest observation deck
I am a new subscriber to your channel. I came here because of Niki's recommendation. What will be the purpose of the new building? I also like the Russian and Soviet cars, since we don't see those here in America. A show about old and new, foreign and domestic cars would be fun. I was in Moscow and SPB in 2018 for the first time. I agree the contrast between the cities and metro is great. I like them both. I will watch for more videos. Good luck.

Lakhta Center built turkish Rönesans Construction. The Lakhta Center project in St. Petersburg, Russia was awarded the Emporis Skyscraper of the Year Award. The prize was awarded to a project built in Russia for the first time in its 20-year history

This is the Park of the 300th Anniversary, near the skyscraper Lakhta center and a beautiful pedestrian bridge to Krestovsky island, I highly advise to visit these places

@@Qqqgik I’ll be in St. Petersburg for 9 days, we rented a house like an hour a way walk from the park, idk if I’ll have time to go there as there’s so much to do elsewhere!! But I’ll try to walk there some night and check that whole area/building out then!! Tysm!!

Холодная вода по центру залива. Т.к. берега очень пологие, у берега вода может быть и 26 градусов (как этим летом в жару к примеру)

IT WAS BUILD MAINLY FOR THE KIDS AND TODLERS WHO ON THE HOT DAYS IN THE SUMMERS GO UNDER WITH CLOTHS AND SHOES ON AND THEY WILL COOL SO THEY DO NOT GET SUN OR HOT SICKNESS. THE TODLERS LOVE IT...! the adult usually get a different one which only a vaporing of the cold water so they do not wet on the clots but still feel cool and refreshing. THE MOST ENJOYABLE IS TO SEE THE TODLERS ... THEY ARE SO FUNNY and the way they enjoy it...!
