"A happy marriage is a reunion of two good forgivers." Divorce should take more time than you took for marriage .....I liked this speech of YQ, there is some eloquent points in it, especially the prolongation of divorce until you exhausted all avenues .

If the husband is ignorant and doesn't provide properly for the wife? He spends money on unnecessary things? When tried to discuss the issue, he gets annoyed and doesn't learn to prioritize? If he is careless and doesn't get involved in the running of the household? Please advice

- How about explaining the process of women divorcing? I'd be interested in knowing that - I'm sure many men go through that. - The stigma that divorcees happens in all cultures.

Asslam O Alaikum What should I do? I wanted to save my marriage but the problem is it’s complicated My husband wanted to divorce me because the first wife gave a statement that if he don’t divorce me then she( first wife) will take away the kids from him and his brother(brother of the first wife) will Divorce sister of my husband who is currently 2 moths pregnant. My husband s parents are quite upset and distress and ask him to divorce m too because of the situation . My husband doesn’t want to divorce me but he cannot think of a way what to do because he is torn between me and the family😭 .

I did talk to my husband, but he don't listen. ..he easily got angry,and even throwing me bad wirds...then we fall in divorce

From what i know according to our prophet (saw) a forced marriage is not valid! And Allah knows best

I new nothing about my husband before I married him ,I hate his personality .it not for me he's not scared of Allah .i am terrified .he bad habits .he not a kid person ,I have a child with special needs and he used to hit him if he vomited . His parents are scared of him .i wish I new what to do if he get angry he cures me so bad and hits me .iv tried so hard to stay patient but he won't he only likes been he's own boss ,if I tell him to pray or change he goes mad ,I'm married 13 years I'm so tired ,

And for you sister now you need not to worry about as you said 13 years have passed and you have a child now. So dont be impatient now and stick to give good moral to ur kid and make him a very good gentleman. Believe me Allah will bring you a peaceful life if not with ur husband then with ur kid and you will be very happy Inshallah. But then you have to give teachings of Islam to ur kid and guide him so that he wont become like his father. Now dedicate ur life to your life(kid). May Allah keep u happy. :-)

Umhra 786 sister no type of abuse is acceptable in Islam. If you listen to Clinical psycologist Abdul Saad on KZread regarding the brain damage caused by ongoing abuse you will understand why Islam does not allow any form.of abuse. This is oppression.

Listen to abuse related speech by Nouman Ali Khan. He mentioned that any type of abuse is not tolerated in Islam. Should get help right away. Safety is first. Get help and be safe!
