As a Christian Syrian , I thank you for showing our holy sites, which have been ignored by other youtubers . Another amazing monastery I wish you had visited is St. Gorgeous in Homs/ valley of Christians which is also more than a thousand year of old.. I wish I could hug each and everyone in the comment section who expressed their admiration .. we are all, my brethren, the branches of the vein of God 🙏 God bless you 🙏☦

Thank you for this message. I knew when I found Jesus becoming a christian would not be easy because I had to leave my sinful lifestyle behind. I started following Christ. Even though I’m facing homelessness. I’m going to keep trusting God. I was fired for not getting the vaccine. I have lupus and been struggling for years with all my medications aches and pains. I also recently had a heart attack. So my pre existing health conditions where what made me turn down the vaccine. Im so depressed over losing my job. I’m a single mother with two autistic boys both are non verbal, now struggling to support them. I’m so afraid me and the boys are going to end up on the streets. l feel so alone it’s so hard raising two boys. I want to give up. I’m so embarrassed over my situation. But! Even though we are facing homelessness and I don’t know how I’m going to put food on the table I still have faith Jesus will carry me through. God will provide for me and my children.

Lovely video, the language is called Aramaic. There are cities in Iraq that speak it as well, mostly is Nineveh. Pope Francis visited some of those villages, including Qaraqosh where Syriac ( the western dialect of Aramaic) is spoken. Greetings from an Iraqi Syriac living in Ireland 🇮🇪❤️

  • @hamodiking100

Syriac isn’t a western dialect of Aramaic… Syriac is an eastern dialect of Aramaic. There is both western Syriac and eastern Syriac, however, I think this is what you meant to say. But both western Syriac and eastern Syriac are still eastern Aramaic. Western Aramaic (which Jesus spoke) only has one branch of it remaining today, which is Western Neo-Aramaic. Western Neo-Aramaic is only spoken today in three villages in the world, all in Syria next to each other - Maaloula, Jubbadin, and Bakhaa. It is not natively spoken anywhere else.

As Jed WIlliams mentioned below, you said Amharic is the language, that is not correct. It's spelled and pronounced ARAMAIC, which is modern day Syriac. Assyrians and Chaldeans speak this language today. They are the indigenous people of Syria and the first christians in history to follow Jesus. Hence the old churches. The orthodox churches state that they share the same bread recipe yeast from the actual "Last Supper", that is evidence of the continuation of following Jesus from his existence.

sorry but earth is not flat. Jesus was a prophet to the Israelites and spoke hebrew to his mother, grandparents and chief rabbis present shortly after his birth. He was the student of Torah before receiving his own book , enjeel, also in hebrew. He might've spoke a 2nd or 3rd languages too but all observant jews must learn hebrew because Torah is in hebrew. This is why the official language of most middle-eastern and north african countries is Arabic because Quran is written in Arabic.
