    @@HBOTUSA I do have a question regarding Methylene Blue I can't find an answer on anywhere. If MB is an estrogen antagonist would it be advisable to avoid this during perimenopause or menopause or any other times when estrogen levels are low? Would taking MB not further lower already low levels of estrogen? I've just ordered the book you recommended. If you see this question, thanks for considering it.

    MB raises blood pressure by 7 on average. Can also induce serotonin syndrome "tremor, nervousness, agitation, mydriasis, mood dysphoria, hyperreflexia, and inducible clonus. In its most severe form, confusion, muscle rigidity, sustained clonus, and hyperthermia" so be careful listening to anyone not including this info up front. It does seem to be awesome at the right dose for most people.

    Hi Doc, I'm 4 weeks into a 6 week 2.5 treatment. 2 air breaks in each 2 hr session. It's because the left half of my tongue is basically dead from hypoglossal nerve nerve damage from radiation. The treatment was 100% successful for me back in 2017 but the problem has resurfaced. Can you offer me any pointers as to what I might do in the chamber or in the hours following to make my treatment more effective ?

  • @SamsonZoomBespoke
    @SamsonZoomBespokeАй бұрын

    Methylene Blue and Oxygen: MB is a versatile dye and has applications in various fields, including medicine. When exposed to oxygen, MB can undergo photochemical reactions. These reactions may lead to the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which can be detrimental to cells and tissues. ROS can cause oxidative damage, affecting cellular components such as lipids, proteins, and DNA. Potential Risks: The simultaneous use of hyperbaric oxygen and MB with NIR lamps could exacerbate ROS formation. ROS-induced damage may affect tissues, including blood vessels, nerves, and skin. It’s crucial to consider the specific context, dosage, and duration of exposure. Consult with a healthcare professional or a specialist familiar with these therapies to assess potential risks and benefits.
