The one bad thing about Angelina is how often I have to change my favorite performance. She is just incredible. This performance is just magical.

She is always in complete control, and she is never overwhelmed by the music behind her, even when it’s a full-on orchestra playing beautifully. When she starts singing, even at 10 years old before thousands of fans, she has our complete attention and the respect of the musicians. Angelina is uniquely talented and the best singer you can find today, but I go back to these younger performances as much as her more recent songs. She is just incredibly good.

What was so nice was watching the both of you smiling as Alan Walker's instrumental song kept escalating louder and louder and you were wondering, "Where is Angelina, at 10 years old, coming into this glorious composition by Alan Walker?" Well, she showed up and literally 'stole the show'. Btw, she also sang 'Faded' right after this. The tone of her voice and her artistic interpretation was magnificent. She looked great. To me, the most astonishing matter to consider was this venue was not exactly something which Angelina usually sang in front of and not only did she perform flawlessly, she did it with grace, confidence and poise. I've seen this video well over 100+ times and it's still impossible for me to believe she was only 10 years old! Talent: Something that an individual excels at. The talent of Angelina: On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest rated), Angelina scores an infinite number. Her talent sits in a cloud of love which is invisible but floats right over her head whenever she sings and wherever she goes. How do we know that? Our heart reminds us of that every time we think about her. No matter what kind of a day you are experiencing, you escape to a special place when you stop to listen to Angelina sing 'for you'. Yes, she sings 'for you' and that special place you go to is Angelina's world. We can't see it but we can feel it and it's a very beautiful place. Thanks, guys! See you soon.

Thanks for your reaction. Alan Walker’s father is English and his mother’s Norwegian. Hence Walker, although there’s a surprising amount of Alan/Allan’s in Norway - I know a couple. Definitely check out Faded from this same performance, perhaps after the official version. There’s also a Faded performance by Ingrid Helene Håvik from Highasakite. And as mentioned plenty of other neat Alan songs… with Hans Zimmer, Ina Wroldsen, Julie Bergan, Tomine Harket… yes, Morten’s daughter, and countless artists around the world. And, of course, Angelina’s EP is right around the corner.

Almost never gets mentioned but Alan Walker is only 8 years older than Angelina, so he was 18 years old for this concert. Alan skyrocketed to stardom in his teens and his videos get billions of views. Angelina and her family may be ready for Republic Records to fully promote her now she has graduated high school. We will find out when her EP with 5 new originals is released VERY soon.

His age is pretty amazing in itself. I didn’t realize he was that young. I had never heard of him before until I first listened to this performance several months ago. Yes he’s still only 25 right now. Two incredibly talented very young artists in this performance.

Always love your reactions. You need to go back and finish that recording as there is another song in that performance which immediately follows “Sing Me to Sleep”. It also is an amazing song written by and perform by Allan Walker and sung by Angelina Jordan. The name of the song is “Faded”. You will not be sorry if you go back and react to that version of “Faded”. She was 10 yo when she did this version with Allan Walker. She also performed her own version at one of her concerts with her own band when she was 11yo. Both versions are of course wonderfully performed by the “Barefoot Princess”.

Glad you enjoyed it.... Yeah, I like the guitars, drums, and screams and growls,,, but being a child of the 60's, there is NOTHING like a full orchestra. And yes Mike, trumpets are bad assed. Both of my nieces earned full-ride scholarships to LSU playing the trumpet.

Just FYI: This video from Alan's channel is slightly "doctored". Angelina's voice actually cracked a bit on the word "song" when she sang "song in every breath" right before the first chorus. Alan "fixed" that for his upload, no doubt thinking that he was saving Angelina some degree of embarrassment. I'm sure Angelina would have told him not to bother. (He posted this about 10 weeks after the concert happened, BTW.) Anyway, the original audio can be found in other uploads of this performance grabbed directly off the live stream (easy enough to find with a search). I mention this just because it annoys me when an Angelina performance - and especially her singing - is altered in any way that is not disclosed (or sufficiently obvious that it doesn't require disclosure).

I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed both of your "reactions" to this as the video played. I have just about given up on so called 'reactions' where everyone seems to find the need to pause every 30 seconds or so and talk for a minute or two. For me, it just ruins the flow of the song, and I avoid most vocal coaches and voice teachers for that reason. Keep reacting to Angelina and i will keep watching. Thanks again!

I don’t know Walker as a DJ recording artist and wrote wrote mini so he got 14 platinum albums and 14 pi country. He wrote faded and send me to sleep. Angelina is 10 years old when he goes to them they think she’s a wonderful thing with the 17 different country OK I’m out of
