I am convinced that Scherie can sing anything. This is my favorite 70s Supremes'song. Never knew this existed on video of any type.

I've been waiting for this video to surface ever since I learned about it four years ago. Thanks so much for posting. This is my favorite lineup of The Supremes and they truly lived up to their name. Scherrie was incredible, and did a great job taking on Jean's leads.

I never saw this with Cindy working the song on stage. I love watching Cindy. She just continued to bring a classiness and cheerfulness to the '70s Supremes. I like Scherrie's take on the lead, too.

I've been trying to get Lynda to do lead on it in the show - I recorded a version with her in the studio that I didn't release. I think sh'll do a great job of it live AND it was co-written by her brother!

Scherrie is a jack of all trades! She can sing the Alphabet and give it oomph!

I love Scherrie but she over sang this song. This is by far Jeannie Terrell's song. The best voices of The whole Supremes group itself Florence Ballard and Susaye Greene. Susaye has a very strong whistle registry and I think could go neck to neck with Minnie Riperton. If you don't believe me listen to New Birth's "Until It's Time To Go" where she sings lead. Notice noone of this generation 80s or 90s have tried to remake that song.

The plural of diva is divas not diva`s !!! Buy `Eat Shoots And Leaves` by Lynne Truss! Otherwise an interesting post, but not really Scherrie`s song, much as I adore her.

I do agree with you that Jean was the best vocalists for the song, "Bad Weather". She had a 2nd soprano voice that was pitch perfect and it flowed. However, that's not taking away from the talent of Scherrie Payne. I would also include Scherrie as one of the best as well. I wouldn't put the vocalist down from the 80's and early 90's period, for at least they were singers and could sing unlike this generation of no talent so-called divas(NOT)!!!

Where are all the clips of Jean Terrell's performances with the Supremes on You Tube?!!! Especially, her performance on Soul Train singing "Bad Weather"?!!! Those girls (Mary,Jean & Lynda) were rockin' it!!!

You all must be RELATED to Scherrie cause this aint even REMOTELY as good as Jean Terrell's lead om this song!
