The Sultans of the Ottoman Empire Brought to Life Using AI: Sharing Their Own Stories

Ойын-сауық

Hey there, everyone! Great to have you back! Despite Islamic principles, portrait painting thrives in the Islamic world, especially evident in the stern gazes of Ottoman Sultans adorning the walls of the Istanbul Military Museum. Renowned Turkish artist Nevzat Cevik undertook the task, commissioned by the Turkish Armed Forces' General Staff, investing 18 months to meticulously study ancient miniatures, engravings, and manuscripts. His mission? To authentically capture the essence of the Ottoman Empire with his brush. Let's delve into some of his masterpieces, brought to life through the wonders of neural networks. It's an exhilarating journey. Stay tuned and enjoy the spectacle!

First they would pray for Atatürk for retaking İstanbul from British, then rebuilding the nation. Second, they would improve economy and education system, because the conquests in this age can only be economical and technological.

It actually has a reason. Majority of them never had their portraits because it was not really common for muslims back then. Only Mehmed 2 was original and bold enough to have his painting made (but interestingly his portrait in this video is not the accurate one. in the original portrait he looked very different.)so basically these paintings are made by painters who lived centuries after them and naturally it was up to their own imaginations and clearly they thought all ottoman sultans would look similiar 😅 we dont know how they actually looked like

This is not Ottoman Turkish but Modern Republic Turkish it was introduced during the 1920's , "Ottoman" Turkish was different , many words are found in modern Turkish , but the Phonetic was totally different , i just give you an example in english , the Phonetic was like poetry , "like you Honorable Man who came to my House asking me for Help , be sure God and everything under him especially me the Sultan and representative of God invited you to my table " rather than the Cold Modern Turkish , which is simplistic and pragmatic . "Ottoman" Turkish was one of the most Polite and senseful languages .

Through this video I could see that the Turkish DNA is pretty strong. More than 500 years have passed, and we can still track the physical similarities of those sultans in modern Turkish people, but we can't do the same regarding British or Portuguese Royalty to their citizens. Also, Turkish beauty seems to be ageless, because if you change those Sultan's outfit, they would easily merge with the modern crowd, different from King Henry VIII (England) or D. João VI (Portugal), that would stand out with their ancient "beauty".

All of these paintings are made by painters who lived centuries after them. During their lifetime they didn't have their actual portraits made. (Except Mehmet ii but his portrait in this video is not accurate either. In his original painting made by Gentile Bellini he looks much different than this) So this is actually not how they looked. Clearly painters who painted them thought they would look similiar to each other.
