On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you prefer more up close and personal dogfights consider the IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battle series and experience intense WWII aerial combat over famous battlefields such as Stalingrad, Moscow, Rhineland and Normandy. Fight in and against Russian, American, German, British warbirds such as the P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, Bf-109, FW-190, Spitfire, Hurricane and rugged IL-2 Sturmovik attack plane. You can also fly legendary SPADS, Fokkers and Camels in WWI dogfights over the trenches of WWI and discover your inner Red Baron! And all of this can be experienced in jaw dropping virtual reality!
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

ain't that the truth. but then that can be said about most aircraft....no? Iraqi Gulf War for me, is the perfect example of this happening in the wild. They had some very nice toys(for the time), like the Mirage F-1 and MiG-29, but were caught with their panties around their ankles, and a military that was disorganized, unprofessional and insufficiently trained and had low morale... After I did some further reading on the topic: Iraqi pilots were trained in the Sov. Union and France for the MiG and the Mirage respectively... both France and the Soviets said those pilots that did pass the grade, did so baaarely, there was not one pilot among them that passed with flying colours... and a large percentage of pilots have outright failed the final tests, but were utilized to fly in the Iraqi air-force anyway.... So here the pilots themselves were sub-par... one has to wonder what the other crucial elements of an effective air-force looked like in the IAF. These standards matter tremendously... Now granted, Iraq faced an overwhelming force.... But even then, there's plenty of examples of outmatched forces still performing well and doing proportional amounts of damage, when all the equipment is utilized to full potential, but in Iraq, the performance was just pathetic. That, and the U.S coordinated and planed the attack quite well, but I imagine even their tacticians must have been surprised at the ineptitude of the Iraqi military.

With these 5th generation fighters, I'd love to see a match up of equal cost. In other words, how many F-16s can you buy for a single F-22 and throw that many at one. I think that in BVR (which of course is the most realistic scenario) the F-22 still eats their lunch, but in a knife fight, I think the f-22 gets smacked down.

Another great show. I had know idea you could pull these stunts like flairs out over his plane, which is funny, but trying to suck you into the engine like that is as real is it could get if you are nuts enough to destroy your plane to kill me. I am now seeing your plane as a vested interest to both our well beings.

Real reason the Felon RTB'd is because his commander told him the plane was worth a quarter of their country's whole GDP, and to not wreck it any further.

@@nineyearwar369 - thanks man for being a good sport. Yeah it would be totally awesome to have the Felon fully simulated there. That'll raise the stakes compared to Ace Combat. There used to be a popular simulator from the previous decade part of the Strike Fighters series: Wings over Israel, Wings over Vietnam, Strike Fighters 1, 2 etc. They still have an active modding community capable of making amazing mods. Maybe someone already has made a Felon there with a high fidelity FDM. idk. But damn shame Third Wire and the entire series just sort of died.

It is my understanding that only 2 "prototype" Su-57 Felons were put into "operational status" in Syria for photo ops, so it makes one think this matchup is much more of a fantasy than one would really think.
