copies everything from everybody that's popular, he made BROOKS BROTHERS & P Press his.. Jane Pauley was looking for a gift bag.

Ralph Lauren is my absolute favorite designer. I love that he is wearing an old, worn-in Kmart flannel shirt. He looks fab in it. (If he designed it the plaid would be perfectly lined up, including the pockets.) So this just goes to show--- that you can look stylish in less expensive clothing---it's all about confidence and the way one carries themselves. I also love how humble Ralph is. God bless Mr. Lauren.

This man brought happiness to millions of people. It don’t get any better than that. So keep all your Polo items, because Ralphee ain’t gonna live forever. And once the icon is gone, his original designs are gonna be worth a lot. Long live the King!

Just like Henry Ford, he captured the American dream and created subtle elegance with romantic bravado.

He is my favorite forever.

I admire this man and the brand he built. I think Ralph Lauren has made beautiful, timeless, stylish clothing, shoes, accessories and fragrances for men and women for decades. I've never been able to purchase much of it but always been an admirer of the products and ad campaigns. God Bless Ralph.

I live not very far from his CO ranch. One day I was in the area and looked over at some motorcyclists stopped along the roadside. One had a shock of white hair and I knew instantly who it was.

Angelina I was living west of Telluride then. I saw RL and his buddies stopped before going over Dallas Divide. I live in Montrose now and travel past his ranch with some frequency.

Love Ralph Lauren. I'm originally from the bronx. I'm 72 now and live in PR where my parents were from. Btw in the 80's, for a temp job, i worked in Ralph Lauren's offices. The legal dept. copyright infringement specifically. His office on 52nd st. Loved entering everyday the old brass elevator. Great memories. Thank you Ralph.🎀

He's one of my favorite designer...LOVE!

I love Ralph Lauren. It’s classic style.

The best part of RL is that despite being a luxury brand, there is always a level of sensibility to it. A good piece could last you ages and they get more beautiful with time. It’s the uniform of the classic man.

It is the spirit of Nature that predominantly inspires Ralph as a designer 🌠

This is a good man. True to his family and himself.

I remember my first "Polo" shirt. Red with the coveted blue polo rider logo. $28.95 purchased at Thalheimer's department store in Charleston, SC while on a family vacation. I was a junior in high school in 1983 and I thought I had arrived when I bought it and wore it to school. There were only a few kids who had one in my rural Ohio high school, and I was one of them! Will always love Ralph Lauren.

His bedding is absolutely beautiful. I buy retired prints on ebay, mainly the pillowcases.

What a beautiful life.. I intervied with his daughter at Dylan's Candy Store. She was as beautiful as she was kind. This is his true legacy :-)

I am only happy when I shop at Ralph Lauren, I have hit every sale this year and I got some amazing stuff! love his clothes, always have and always will, timeless classic chic style, I just purchased his blue pin stipe pants and they work with his white sneakers and a white shirt or a white turtle neck or his crispy button down white shirt , love it!! That's the incredible thing about his clothes, you can take all his pieces and use them over and over and interchange them and they all work!

That Blue dress for Melania was absolutely beautiful.

I think his genius is to design to the deepest American sensibilities.

He is a warm and seems a comfortable person, what I believe he believes is people are people not the cost of what they put on. Although nothing wrong with having money. He earned all his. I am rich but not in material things and life is to short to not be happy and thankful. God Blesses me every day, just not with money but I am rich. I do hope other people will get that about him because I feel it is how he feels. He appreciates he has been blessed and knows it. Blessing come to us different from our creator and we should love him and be thankful. The most expensive thing and valuable in life is friends and family. Peace!

I wonder with his taste and handsome face if he had a slightly shortened nose. My own is shorter than it was or tge bit below it is longer and i have also struggled with dental implants and new lips. However sometimes i see young people who look like theyve been 'edited' and think i need to get over it, nor invent a new 'lens'. I presume this is respectful, or delete it.

So sass he doesn’t care what you wear, as long as your comfy... my approach to the 501’s!!! Button fly alll day!!!!!

Good to see you again Jane Pauley, but are you not wearing your glasses? You're squinting through the whole interview. Love your boots Jane and jacket! RL is a classic. His clothing is comfortable, not trendy, classic which is what I love about it well made. I have a few blazers I've had for 20 years, still wear them, they never go out of style! I especially enjoy his handbag collections!

He seems to have been unproblematic. I need to invest in a few pieces.
