Yeah, I'd do similar. I reckon I'd charge an extra 10% to 15% for current customers and around 50% more for new ones. They'd still appreciate the gesture, I reckon.

@@shaniya3847 -Nothing wrong with asking. You can ask, and if they don't respond or say no, you must move on with your head high. It's not desperate taking the initiative. Tell me you never ask anybody out without actually telling me.

For that I charge $150min per sedan for a complete detail (interior/exterior). If it has more than lite to medium dirt, it goes up. So that for me would have been $300min.

I charge around 150 for each! takes me about 3-4hrs for both cars but I’m by myself. For now at least. Raise those prices! Make it worth your time!

In fresno I charge 80 for inside and outside at the moment. I charge little because I'm still growing and it's word of mouth. Once my work is set in and people like my work, I'll start charging 160 to 175 depending starting 2022. So let me know *fresno* if you need a wash.

Speed is key.. battery powered vac and blower, pump sprayers, loser pants, is necessary. Wider vac noozle, needed

I’m not sure how these guys are detailing cars in 2 hours by themselves. I guess Ohio cars are dirtier than LA area, but some of the interiors I get are nasty and I spend 3 hours minimum for a full detail by myself. But my base package starts at $199, mid package with shampoo and steam starts at $349. I have an express wash for regulars or well kept vehicles for $120 depending on size which is basically an exterior detail plus a vacuum and interior glass which is about an hour with 2 guys. This is my first year full time in the business but bookings have been pretty consistent. A day or 2 a week of no bookings the rest 1-3 cars/day. Just landed a 5 vehicle booking for mid tier packages for $1705 (349*5-10% discount). I shoot for $45-60 a man hour depending on the difficulty of work. $60-75/hr for correction work. This channel has helped a lot with the startup obstacles so thanks a bunch!

Someone paid me and my homie to detail their car 200, and all I did extra was quick wax buffed their car. I think for 2 cars, if you put a more brief description of everything you do…customers would be willing to pay more. Think he should raise his prices.

Yeah bro 2hrs for a basic wash and spray wax is to much time.. it’s just probably because you need to get in a routine. I do those everyday and they take me a hour.

...and that, ladies and gentleman, is why he has too many customers: his charges are too low. In and out for less than $60.00 in the USA is too cheap. Add 40% to that valet price, and 75% of your customers will stay with you = more money + less work + fewer customers!

@@ElonMusk87216 I'm in England, too, Ohara. There's a bit of a discrepancy between the $20.00 valet in the UK and a similar service that's detailed. A few differences: $20 wash will use a dirty sponge and very weak snow foam (if the cheap wash inc. foam). The cheap wash won't wipe, dust, and dress your interior. The cheap wash won't dry your car with towels, they'll opt for a gritty old chamois leather, damaging to paint. The $20.00 wash won't usually include a spray wax and buff either, and they defo won't polish your windows.

I just know the California rent or mortgage it's one of the most expensives monthly bills in USA. So yeah prices need to go up. Here in NC mobile carwash like that its around $55 and rent its about half less then California.

Been detailing for a little and motivation is the key sometimes I feel down but I try to do the best !!!

I just did a full detail on an SUV today and it took me like 5hrs, so don't worry bro, you're good.

$130 for 2 cars........damn that super cheap!.....WAAAAAY to cheap. And I'm guess because out there in California the competition is so brutal. I would know since I just left there from living most my life. Out here in Ohio, $130 is the starting rate for a basic detail.

Interiors are dusty and when vac inside and you take out floor mats to vac them you will get the exterior all dusty..

@@johnnymata523 Fairly common knowledge to do Exterior first. Otherwise you will have to open the door again to do Door Jambs as they will have water.

@@beyondthedetails yes only door jams and that’s it rather do that then grab a detail spray and wipe the car down again. Will save a lot of time. Also after doing exterior hands gets real dirty don’t want to dirty the interior. That’s just my way. How ever is best will be different for everyone.

I charge 75

$130 for both cars isn’t bad, considering the cars where not that filthy and there was no correction done nor shampooing the carpet. I would probably raise it up to $85 per car.

You can easily get away with charging a minimum of $80 for a maintenance detail, I personally charge $100 for maintenance details and it takes me around 2 hours. Something you can present to your customers if you don't want to up your prices just yet is tell them, "My maintenance details are $65 if you book every two weeks or $80 if you book once a month." Then your prices will gradually increase.

Not gunna lie I don’t see the “passion” for detailing vehicles, all I see is him rushing, compared to James from TopClassDetail he actually has the real passion for details. It seems like jorge hustles for the money only lol
