@@payasoteamhonda nah can’t let greediness affect the business. Pretty sure the workers aren’t eating the tips that is made and 15 is not worth it to be hustling like hat under the sun. For 15 an hour it’s better to work at a market stocking or stuff like that in the cold AC. 20 is perfect, getting paid above and keeps them loyal

Yes your write off what you pay your employees and any type of gas and miles traveled im not too sure on repairs but miles and gas your covered with the proper tax documents

Role model!! Out of all your interviews from detailers this is a much respected role mode here! Been watching your videos for a while now because I’m also doing carwashes on weekends as my side hustle from my driveway. This guy here is a motivation to keep pushing and like he said be on it!!! Want to go full time in the spring! Just waiting for winter to role by as it is the toughest times of the year and it wouldn’t be a good idea to quit my job, having a house payment and car payment. Shout out From Dallas, Tx!!

This guy’s been the most legit. Probably has an intense overhead but it seems he has the volume for good cash flow and happy employees with their paycheck. Hell yeah

He has the correct successful mindset. Expand your business. The majority of detailers are afraid to grow their business and bring on employees, gain more vans etc... This is why you see so many selling their rigs, burning themselves out flying solo. I don't think he mentioned anything about paint correction, so he's pretty much washing cars inside and out detailing them which is why he focuses on volume. The vast majority of clientele just want a clean car. Soccer moms aren't paying for paint correction nor is a daily driver. He understands that time is money. Kudos to him. He'll have a shop soon and he can then stop doing all the labor

As a single mobile detailing. I charge my clients according because it’s me by myself. My clients are awesome. And I don’t touch to many dirty vehicles at all. But I also charge a lot but also have 184 5 star reviews by my self. Waiting to get a team to grow but for now I gotta grind by my self.

Love it! Only thing I didn’t like is the team not getting at least a 30 minute lunch. I respect the salary you pay them, but it should never be enough not to get a break. You got some great hard working fellas with you man!

Guy seems like a dick too much growth got to his head. They are getting a full size pick up truck done in 1 hour the least he can do is treat his workers right since without them this job is 4 times as hard.He doesn’t even have to pay them top dollar. He just needs to treat them right. It’s all sweet until they learn the game to later quit and take all your employees with them.

He’s out there like a helicopter parents observing them. Reminds me of this one time I was out doing deliveries and some yard/construction workers were eating lunch and their boss came to the work site to check up on them and forced them hurry up most of them threw away there food and got to work. Latinos get a bit of money and influence and think they can control people just because they can throw their money around and attract people in need of work.

Completely understand your perspective! We usually alternate drivers while driving to different cities so all of our employees get at least half an our of lunch time. Not to mention we usually allocate 35-60 min of down time per shift

Van insurance, gasoline, equipment maintenance, labor, oil change, supplies, taxes…etc..etc. A lot of expenses right there. It is not about just money coming in, it is about making smart budgets and getting a reasonable profit.

soooo….. proper technique for minimizing swirls/scratches on vehicles takes a back seat in favor for high volume profit. ehh, i’d rather hire that dude Joel from Details. I understand being efficient is important but not at the expense of quality results. I just see a bunch of dudes rushing the work.
