This is so spot on I love how I’ve now come to understand the peace we were promised and joy. My joy is not worldly standard, it’s the joy of the holy ghost, nothing beats that. Christianity indeed comes with challenges but thank for the seal of assurance we have, the Holy Ghost.

To be a Christian is to be lonely. That’s just how it is this day in age. The majority of society has lost it’s sound mind and moral. However, life as a lonely follower of Christ is worth more than 100,000 lives as an accompanied follower of the world.

I love that I can so relate with you. It’s really tough, but with the Holy Spirit and a community of young believers, it’s easier✨✨✨

You know as a gen z person I just honestly hate christianity its like Full of hypocrites I hate the concept of following a book And everything that book says is used to justify everything No its not hard to find other people who are christians im pretty sure you look medium to small enough there are probably churches every where But for me as a lgbtq person of color I literally cant find jack squat because lf i try to find somewhere I can feel safe most luck i get in finding at least one But in other circumstances like church I could find that anywhere I dont even blame you for believing in this crap we all want to be free from what people expect like you were trying to be worldly and it wasnt for you you but I was trying to be holy and soon lost it and it hurt my mental health No gen z Is not just following trends and each other all the times we sometimed shsre trauma over things like Christianity and im not trying to be rude but Christianity as a whole is a mindset a religion God isnt a mindset god is real somehow but explain how you gonna read a book and go by it like it determines your life thats my question And most Christians prove my point Which is that Christianity was honest just for power and justifications for future genocide I see it as a plan made by old hating men to stop spreads of certain things I believe the Christian god is the devil so as jesus because we all follow them so blindly And resembles how they say that following satan you dont always recognize So from a gen z person this my reasons why I think it may be hard for you and why it could apply to any community I dont hate Christians Im probably misunderstanding them but this is what i see in real life and online but overall im open to learning

Thank you for watching❤️. As much as I want to say “you’re misunderstanding Christians”, I don’t want to seem like I’m oblivious to the fact that there are some really mean Christians. If you’re truly open to learning then I would recommend you read the Bible yourself and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. I’ll also recommend sermons from Apostle Joshua Selman and Pastor Emmanuel Iren. Please come with an open mind🙏. The benchmark for determining a “good Christian” is JESUS and not anyone else in this world, not even ME. Thank you for sharing your opinion. Have a nice day.

I'm sure it wasn't your intention, but you may be invalidating some true struggles of many young people with this comment. I'm not sure whether I understand your situation, I didn't went through what you went through, but I can imagine. And it probably wasn't and isn't easy. That battle is real. And you should have the right to voice that and I'm sorry If you've been silenced before. However, the struggles that Mandie described in this video are true for many people too. Being the odd one out for holding certain values is the biggest for me. It has come to the point where I don't talk with my friends about marriage, because I've been mocked by my family for wanting to be a stay-at-home mom. Dating is a difficult experience too. I, and many others, refuse to use dating apps for their hook-up culture, and because of that we have much less options than other people our age. Not even mentioning that most guys see 'saving up for marriage' as an absurd concept. I don't like partying, going out on 'adventures', drinking etc. But when I go on social media and see everyone having this wild fun, I really start to wonder whether I'm doing something wrong. It really produces this fear of missing out, and comparing it to the feeling of drowning is not that far off. Those are just few examples. I wouldn't describe myself as a christian yet. But I am a young woman trying to make some sense out of the world we all live in today. And the way of being Mandie described in this video - that of constant change and development of your views and mind - is something I can definitely subscribe to. Obviously, I could only speak on my experiences here, but I can't help but feel like there are many people who share them with me.

Thank you for sharing! This just validates the points that I made in this video and also shows that many people actually face these struggles. I appreciate your input.

@@mandie__a okay thanks for responding in a nice way sorry if this was harsh or just neglecting of your struggles I definitely didn't mean it that way now reading back this comment it seems like I was doing that I'm not a much a Christian anymore but I will take your recommendations in account and try them. Thanks for responding with kindness it shows my habit of thinking something is either bad or right because of my experiences thanks again for the kindness in your response.
