@@burr69 No bare handed man is beating a Bear in a fight, he is just the strongest MAN. Big bears can get up to 1,000 to 1500 pounds or more in mass, has 10× the bone density of a human, has a bite force that can crush a bowling ball, and a paw swipe that can decapitate a moose with one swipe. Man never goes into bear territory without a shotgun, from the beginning of time man has never hunted dangerous animals until they were able to get weapons. If Shaw or any wsm could take on a bear or a dangerous wild animals they would have already done it to prove their stronger. Anyone who has come up against a bear with no weapon ended up dead. Strength wise- A 1,000 pound grizzly bear easily sent a 700 pound dumpster end over end like it was a beach ball( in a strength test ) while the world's strongest men had to put effort to back carry a 600 pound piano. Not to mention it took shaw everything he could do, to get a 350 pound ( shape doubles the weight said by Shaw so maybe 700 pound) cannon on his shoulders and was exhausted while it's been shown 700 pounds to a playful, calm grizzly is nothing, not to mention that same calm grizzly easily lifted a 675 pound rock with one paw, while the world's strongest men could barely manage a 312 and 450 pound rock in one hand dead lift style without it tearing their hands apart. So no man can handle a grizzly, its confirmed one swipe could decapitate a man or snap his neck.

There wasn’t access back then to the vast training and nutrition knowledge as well as the insane amount of performance enhancing drugs people are on today. Brian Shaw is a 440 pound giant that is full of steroids and dedicated his life to training. The Greek named Eumastas did some sort of lift with a 1,060 boulder. The only info we have is the inscription that reads it was lifted off the ground. If it was a hip lift that was used, then these guys did almost 3 times that weight on this show.

I caught a 7 foot fish this morning, I tell my friend he says wow he tells his son, his son tells his friends my dads friend caught like a 7 or 8 foot fish yesterday, they tell their family, joe caught a 9 or 10 foot fish the other day. By next month I got one of my buddies coming up to me saying hey i heard you caught a 13 footer last month... now extend this by over 2 hundred years.

Doing strongest man in history without Big Z Savickas is completely pointless . Savickas has over 90 gold medals compared to Brian Shaws around 20 gold medals. Still holds 8 world records that I know compared to Brians 1 or 2 world records . Rest of them are not even worthy of comparison.

@@sathishtravensky7741 Because its very disrespectful for Savickas . He alone has 2 times more strongman victories than those 4 have combined . He also has more world records than those 4 combined. I think its very disrespectful for him and everything he has done in strongman sport ,so the whole point of doing the strongest man in history without including the actual strongest man in ( known and verified) history is pretty stupid. Very pointless show in my opinion but very enjoyable to watch.

Even if he did, he most likely would've died subsequently. Look up Eddie Hall beating the world record in deadlift I think it was, you actually see what happens with the body when they're in that place. He's internally hemorrhaging, shows signs of concussion and all such. Realistically, this Francisco probably carried a much smaller cannon and then the story just got exaggerated over time
