Figured we could go over the strengthenings now after having some time to think about them. I personally think one of these was the strongest buff the game has ever seen. i was hoping they would give arjuna a buff that can make him 3 turns farm like karna and raikou really disappointed tbh

Personally, I think the Cu Caster buff was stronger than Salter's. She was already a Double Koyan + Oberon looper with a busted NP modifier, even though she needed a rarer 60% CE. She wasn't even stuck with Double Oberon + Koyan. Cu Caster couldn't loop at all. In fact, he was pretty much useless outside of his standard Cu Protection From Arrows skill letting him facecard Assassins for a bit. Now he can Black Grail Loop without even needing Oberon, just Double Koyan. Just look at Nerofest Finals. He can 6 Slot with just Double Koyan.

I was so destroyed when the 4 star assassin wasn't Kiritsugu

It was weird, they started out really strong then they fumbled the bad half way, that Squirtoria buff was not needed at all

Kiritsugu getting a happy ending wouldn't be lore accurate.

I still can't believe that after how long we waited, the most valuable thing Karna's buff granted him was 5% more battery.

Fixed crit damage and star bomb go a long way too, now they just have to buff everything that isn't buffed. Especially the stuff like NP seal.

Karna has arguably the worst starweigbt and no real way to make crit stars reliably. He will be buff when he’s no nping consistently

@@chinchin9497 The thing is, most of the time his sups are gonna be Double koyan + Oberon (even on CQ's unless you wanna play a weird stall with merlin and whatnot). And with that he ends up getting more stars than the ones even needed, the problem is everything passed 50 is just lost, It's something they really need to fix in future systems and it's also one of the quick card problems...

You know 40 stars at the first turn can just improve NP gain or Star gain, even if you are 3-turning and Karna will delete all enemies with his NP as 3rd card. Or you can just oneshot all enemies at 1st wave with basic attacks and save your battery spells for other NP.

In all honestly they could “fix” Karna’s kit to be more modern easily. It would just take one more buff: extend Buster up to 3 turns, np damage 1 time 3 turns, and add a 3 stack 3 turn defense buff or dmg cut that gets consumed upon NP which slightly increases his NP damage per stack. Would make him feel so much more unique while matching his lore, instead of reducing him to simply another crit servant.

Wait i dont think the hans buff was necessary but... you can find out the allignment of the characters through in-game info. Its in their Bond Profiles. It's in their Bond 1.

When Khad is saying they didn’t actually need to buff these Saber Faces, you know the devs were off the mark. That being said, I managed to finally NP5 Salter on her last NA rate up so here’s to the future!

Man, they would do something about units like Geronimo, Rama, Shakespeare. There a lot of units in dire need of buffs, but here we go: Another buff to the already best 2-star supporter Hans. Buff to Tell skill that really don't do as much. With enemies HP bars already in millions burn and other dot effects are already meme and they buff Kiyohime burn? Buff to best looping ST archer in the game that helps her with... looping? I mean, some of the buffs were good. But this is 14 units anniversary buff batch. The big bang batch. If there were more buffs all around the year then yeah, this wouldn't be as bad, but when we are waiting for our favs to get good boost to their skills and NP and we get this level of ... exciting content then meh...

Arjunakeks are somehow extremely touchy. If someone ever even implies Morgan and Summer Ibuki are good (which they very much are on the top of food chain) they go apeshit.

Salter's buff is what I thought Muramasa's and Koyan's skills "NP gain per hit" at first.

If you want to talk about game-changing buffs I think the one Cu Caster received a year ago (or this year on the English server) is still number 1 in the game to date. It made a below average 3star servant into an omni-farming black grail monster that doesn't even require a plug suit in order to do his business. Salter's buff is definitely top 3 (I say top 3 and not top 2 simply because just like you did with Cu Caster, I bet I too am forgetting a stupidly strong buff that already exists in the game).

Yes it's broken, yes it's insane, yes I have NP4 Salter on NA and will be NP5 when the free SR appears, and yes I will absolutely abuse this buff every chance I get. But giving that buff to Okita Assassin has made me soooooooo happy.

They did Hans dirty. They could've made his Charge skill give buff success chance. It'd make him so much more reliable than having to use his face card with the mask command code that buffs success chance.

One thing I like about the Salter buff is that she's still fairly specific. She's the only Buster looper that cares about the number of enemies in a wave, and in any non-farming content, her playstyle is still very burst-heavy with 90% of her damage being packed into three hits, so she still doesn't feel like she's outpacing any 5 star counterparts. As a Bradamante enjoyer, her buff is huge. I'm very happy that the damage mod is on a skill and for 3 turns rather than being on her NP, since Bradamante now actually has a very good kit for fights where you'd want an AoE Lancer. She can spam her NP more, get a lot of stuns, and if you're using her with Skadi, the bonus gains and the damage mod will massively help her Quick Crits. Summer Abby's buff is actually pretty huge. She's never been a farming Servant, though now she seems like she'd be able to do it well enough, but for challenge content, her effective damage up from her own skils is kind of nuts. 40% defense down between a skill and her NP for 3 turns, plus 30% buster resistance down and a 30% buster buff for 3 turns, not even counting the one hit 50% defense down on her S1, plus multiple instances of buff removal. Unlike Kuku, she has Existence Outside the Domain, so if you use her with Van Gogh she'll absolutely melt people with buster crits. Very good DPS unit in my opinion.

Should I invest into my Mordred having Koyan and Oberon? I do have Waver but not Merlin, Skadi or Castoria.

They buffed Kiyoyo because she's in Ordeal Call 12 as the main villain (trust me)

I'll die on this hill that Billy the kid should of gotten the 3* buff over Tell.

Man, forget Billy, Kid Gil needed it even more. His entire kit could’ve benefited from some sort of buff.

Imagine getting mad on raikou getting a buff

The Squirtoria buff while it's good other 5* ST Archers could of made better use of that (hint hint: Artemis). The Mandricardo buff it's more of an actual fix, this is what the skill should of been from the start. Hans is already good, the buff should of gone to Shakespeare. Kiyohime could of used something more burn gimmicks are highly overrated. The rest more mostly good, of course some better then others.

I'm still salty about the buff on archuria. Of all the buff, they give her the unneeded one. Honestly I'm happy if they just make her a crit archer.

3:03 Hard Disagree there Khad, CasCu's S3 buff is far more impactful

Personally I'm disappointed by this anni's upgrades. Salter won big time, but that aside there's too much summer units that got patched up. Which sucks when you don't have them. I wouldn't mind if they gave us upgrades more often but they are so slow in throwing thoye out it never lives up to thr hype because there's only 1-2 good ones with the rest being okay at best.

I think they've been doing a better job the past two years of giving the summer units banners at least, but yeah the point on needing to buff more often is a huge one.

While I agree that some of the buffs are kinda wasted on units that don't need them like Squirtoria, or needed something else like Hans and Tell, and that they need to do upgrades more often, don't you think it's kinda petty to imply that buffs on summer units are wasted just because you don't have them? What about those people who DO have them but can never find places to use them because they're so weak?

Personally I really hope they specifically roll out buffs for the Crypter Servants. Anastasia just got a buff and Ruler Morgan isn't even a thing, but the others could really use them imho. - Sigurd needs a buff on his clunky ass crit skill - Lan Ling could really use a buff to his battery, perhaps making it teamwide to make him more intuitive, especially after Casgil got a super strong buff - Asvatthaman's kit works really nicely with Mighty chains but seriously, a low hp gimmick with no guts? In the year of our lord? Idk what skill should get it, or if that + an invuln is too much but the Man needs it. - Caenis. 5 years into the game. 5 whole years. Super important role in the story, obscenely powerful in the lore, and he was given a 2 turn Monstrous strength. Unfortunate does not even begin to describe the inclusion of this skill. This is not mentioning the fact he's a crit servant with no ST Np, or the fact he's an AoE buster with only a 20% battery, as long as Monstrous Strength is replaced with a solution to either, I'm happy.

Yeah, keep giving upgrades to servants that least needs them while medea still haven't gotten hers.
