Ibuki is a new standard for arts looping power, but many players will already have a great berserker in their arsenal. While she is a great addition to your roster, she will eventually get outpaced by some competitors. She is not a must roll, but she is certainly good enough that everyone should pay attention. TBH Ibuki will/had been top 1 art looping before musashi SQ. And a braindead one too. In term of raw power, they are the same zerker musashi/Ibuki/Ishtar/Kama, but Ibuki just has better and well around kit than the rest. However, since NA has clairvoyance EX, we pretty much know the future so either we already had invested Np2/3/4/5 into morgan/melusine/zerker musashi (as I did), or we save for better/rarer Servants (Kukulkan/Tez/Draco or even the upcoming 9th anniversary). For me, I would only try for 1 copy of Proto Merlin and Summer Skadi 180 sq at max, and save for next year. 🤔

I mean as a new player, who's only onther Berserker is Arjuna Alter I think I'm gonna pull for her because being Arts and having support and Np charge feels more simple to use, for me, and because I feel I need a unit to round up the damage against basically any class. But again I'm just playing since 4 months and creating opinions by personal experience, reading analysis on the "wiki pages", and watching your video analysis which I found really interesting and well made. P.s.: A personal question am I understanding correctly that this is the time to throw a lot of AP recharges to farm in the Gate?

She was skippable for me for the same reason (np4 Musashi), but ended up getting her anyway rolling for erice. One thing she seems to bring to the table that none of the other top tier arts loopers bring to the table is crit on demand. I can see that helping on some fat single target waves.

I started fgo 6 months ago and saved everything for summer Ibuki and summer Skadi.

Actually wanted to see the numbers for Space Ishtar and Summer Kama... in fact that's probably a higher consideration for a lot of people, as these two were highly rolled and invested as omnifarmers. Even Ruler Melusine shouldn't have been... ruled (heh) out, as we have clairvoyance and a lot will consider "go for Ibuki or Melusine next year".

I still think she's the best Arts AoE DPS in the game and one of the best AoE DPS over all. I have NP3 S-Musashi, NP2 Morgan and NP2 Junao and I want to get NP3 S-Ibuki as well so hopefully I get that on top of S-Skadi and Lady Avalon. Also for further clarifications S-Musashi's 200% super effective is on Saber SERVANTS not just Saber Enemies for those who don't know.

@@jimmyv5494 I'm rolling for her because I love her and because she fits certain criteria I personally have for servants I'm rolling for since I'm F2P. I also want her since I stand by the fact that she's one of the best and Arts is the safest card type to deal with multi class bosses. I've been using my S-Musashi multiple times in CQs even after she reached bond10 and was benched for my NP3 SpIshtar cause an arts team with a strong AoE Berserker ruins most fights in the game and S-Ibuki is just going to be an upgrade of that. As for if I think she's worth it ? Yes, but is she NEEDED ? Not really. It depends on what you want from her and what NP level you are going for comparatively to your current Farmer Berserker. For clarity, the reason I am confident in going for NP3 Ibuki and 1 of each of Skadi and P-Merlin is because I haven't rolled since Lancer Ryoma last year so I currently have around 1650 SQ + 170 tickets + 100 SQ from SQ fragment and I haven't touched Traum yet so that's another source of SQ, SQ fragment and SQ mission. And even then I'm only guaranteed 1 Ibuki and 1 Skadi since this game's gacha is shit. TL;DR : I think she is worth it but that is not an advice and more of a subjective opinion, the main reason I'm rolling for her is because I love her and she fits what I personally want.

I did want to hear other opinions, and I really like Ibuki’s Design, but I can only get 1 summer servant. So I’m torn between Proto Merlin or Ibuki. I’m not really looking for an objective response since I’ll be happy with either one. I just love hearing others opinions on subjects like this :) good luck with all your saved up SQ!

I have NP3 SMusashi and i was genuinely pissed when i saw SIbukis kit and that she's better than Musashi in almost every damn way.... All that said i'm going for NP2 SIbuki cause on one hand i "have" to and on the other mainly 2 gynormous reasons :) Thank god SMusashi got an upgrade to serve as a pseudo Archer so she still has some use

S!Musashi is the only generic arts looper with an NP upgrade, it is insanely powerful. She does better damage against non-Earth period, not just Sabers.

@@aquasis995 That is true but it took them way way too long to upgrade her. Skipping Ibuki cause SMusashi gets an upgrade in X years that lets her compete in some regard is pretty sad and a testament to how damn power crept Ibuki was/is :)

She's better at looping in every way. Musashi is more of an all in one. She can loop and she's a menace in challenge content.

I'll roll for her as my only somewhat decent Dps unit are NP1 Space Ishtar and a NP2 S! Jeanne. I need a better one. I just hope I can get her early so I can save up for next year.

Going for at least 1 copy to support my Arc bc although there're other cd reduction options she is no doubt the best by a landslide; also want NP5 S.Erice so may end up with more copies in the process. Either way i've been thinking it may be smart to wait and pull for S.Skadi first before the other two seeing as she's the most important of the 3. Gonna be hard waiting though

So I got summer Musashi in my guaranteed berseker banner, should I try to get summer Ibuki or I’m set with Musashi?

My main target for this year and I am fully ready whether the Gacha screws me over. Currently have 930 quartz hoping to get all the summer servants but Ill settle for NP1 Ibuki if fate dictates it

Glad to know s.musashi's np upgrade is not limited to the super effective mod against saber servants . I pulled her at gssr, and can't wait to pull for her again in her upcoming banner.

@@christoperjohnteodosio2688 A DPS's NP upgrade typically makes their post upgrade NP1 damage into the same as their pre upgrade NP2 dmg, and their post upgrade NP2 dmg is the same as their pre upgrade NP5 dmg. That is on top of any other added effect or changed effect.

Go for Skadi. Skadi is irreplacable green support, and situationally the best red support. Lady Avalon is okish blue farming support and good challenge blue/neutral support. Ibuki is just one more good blue looper, we got many of that and will get many more in future.

Arcueid hit me hard and so did pulling for for summer Kiara (I've been without a proper moon cancer forever so now I have two strong ones. HMPH.) but I'm still at 1078 (from 2000. ._. ) but I'm still swinging for summer ibuki as planned. Only real question I have to ask myself is do I want summer Wu? Or do I want to save up as much as I can to ensure pity for Tezcatlipoca?

Man so many Summer servants I want and I have only so many quartz to use

i LOVE Ibuki, she's one of my favorite servants, but GSSR gave me S!Musashi NP2 so im not really sure if its really worth pulling for Ibuki when Musashi is already a very good looper and with her NP upgrade coming in a few years... I have almost 800SQ but thinking that the last gacha SSR i got was Skadi on christmas and previous to her was Koyanskaya on hard pity, i don't really trust me to get more than 1 of the summer servants.

I got her! She will give Arjuna alter some rest

personally, I don't believe NP1 summer ibuki going to surpass my NP5 Morgan nor NP3 summer Musashi so... after ArcEarth banner ended, i'll try to suppress myself and save all SQ for NP5 Summer Morgan in 2 years.

Neither of them came home to me in spite of me trying quite a bit ( of course not pity but still) so I gave up on them. Summer Ibuki all the way. Even though she might just ditch me too as her saber version kind of did that already. 😢

Saved over 1200 quartz for Ibuki even though I have NP 2 level 100 Morgan just because I want Ibuki that bad and I’m gonna try to get as high of an NP level as I can of her. Anything left if I hit NP 5 is going right towards proto Merlin

I don’t really have any incentive to roll her since I have NP2 Musashi, Arjuna Alter, and Morgan. If I get Summer Skadi and Proto Merlin early I might drop like 90 quartz on her.

Your musashi comparison fails to consider 90++ tho. There is NO servant that can farm every single 90++ node, none. So the future of farming is very much in multi core farming, in which summer musashi is borderline unusable, whereas summer ibuki is very performant. This is due mainly to S.Musahsi's lack of battery and lack of team/targeted buffs, while S.Ibuki has both of those things. So, while yes, summer musahsi does a lot of damage, but that's when you use her as a solo dps with 3 supports, which will almost never be enough to clear 90++ nodes anyway. In the end, roll who you like more of course, but just know that gameplay wise, that higher damage on S.Musashi won't make your farming more efficient if you're planing to farm the highest efficiency, 90++ nodes.

@@user-mt2cb3zb2n Damage wise, Ibuki is still better. Melusine is just better in the fact that she can even farm in 1/1/1 situations. She's also better defensively, but for general farming, I'd prefer Ibuki's pure offensive power over Melusine's defensive capabilities. And trust me, her two offensive weapons are definitely very powerful.
