Thanks Bri... we asked for more street and you delivered. I really enjoyed the B&W shots. I feel that B&W was made for street photography. I need to get myself to Vancouver... never been. A mate of mine has lived there for over 20 years so I've got no good excuse to not visit.

Good video mate, it’s crazy how all cities in the western world are getting to look alike, I doing some shooting in Canary Wharf London and Salford Manchester in next fortnight and seeing your pics has gave me a few ideas.

I dabble in street photography too but have never had the courage to film myself on the streets. Your videos are also reminding me that I need to bring my camera with me more often. Thanks Andy😉👍 I started doing street more or less the same time as I was doing landscapes. Being a vibrant city there is always something going on in downtown itself so would often wander around the city checking out outdoor events with my camera at hand, then that progressed to more street style photography.

I know you have been asked this many times but how do people respond when they notice you taking their photos? I know it is legal in public places but I would think that people might still be upset if they notice you getting a picture with them in the frame. With a telephoto, you would be less noticeable but with a 35 on, you would need to be much closer. This aspect of photography is one I'd like to explore but I always wonder how you handle the inevitable conflict when one arises. Any thoughts on that topic?

Most of the time I’m waiting for subjects to walk through or into compositions I’ve already pre focused on, I’m not one that likes to point the camera directly at a subject I’m photographing, at times I will ask people if they don’t mind me taking there picture. As for the lenses I use 35mm or 50mm, there a great focal length, the lenses are smaller, so they draw less attention than if I was to use a large telephoto lens, having silent shutter on helps too. Hope that helps 👍

I did some street photography in my city and no one ever gave me a problem at all. I either waited for them to exit the shot or they did notice me and wait, standing outside the shot, but no one ever gave me problems at all, public, inside outside, trains 🚃 and planes ✈️ , it's great 👍

The streets are classed as public domain so photography is fine.
