Bro is asking for a participation award Every year, QT talks about how much effort goes into the streaming awards, and you expect her to manage a whole nother day of small streamers? If you think it was hard to vote because you didnt know some of these streamers, imagine trying to vote when you know none of them. The votes would be based of random chance. Not to mention how difficult it would be to get small streamers to the venue, because they cant afford plane tickets, and if the streaming awards had to provide them, it would be way too much cost for way little reward. It would end up just being random streamers nobody knows getting awards, and they wouldnt be there in person. Basically you are asking QTCINDERELLA to spend extra time, money, and effort just because you want some recognition. This has to be the worst take ive ever seen. If you want recognition, do something worth watching. Some of the biggest streamers getting rewards were averaging less than 10 viewers two years ago

If you want small streamer awards, get together with someone and host it then!

"Idk who these popular streamers are" So we should have less popular streamers? Who people know less? Also this isnt a Official Twitch Event. This is a QTCinderella event. QT has said this is a event to celebrate her friends and to get people together. A small streamer award show just isnt feasible.This show isnt free .It wont bring viewership cuz these people arnt popular, so no Subscriptions for QT(The Person paying for it) and advertisers wont come(for low veiwership) If you want a event, make one, get people together, make it happen. Do it like Nimn, his is all online. QT made a show so she can celebrate people she knows, she dont you bro.

I don't get that push for Small Streamer Awards and why mix them with most popular and entertaining. How would you choose nominees and criteria for winners? The show was done for twitch viewers and for their entertainment. And apparently that's what vast majority wanted to see. The usual approach for award shows is to start from global (best of the best) and then have separate awards by region or by game. This is the place where smaller streamers can level-up and gain new audience. If enough people are willing to watch that show someone will put cach on the table to make it happend. Award shows are made for people's entertainment and not for contestant. Content creators, similarly to actors, musicians, athletes, they have different goals (usually money). People's awards are not on their list and attending award shows are part of their job. Btw personally I only know Jinnytty from that list, I don't understand half of those categories but happy to see people are still interested in chess. Damn... that is long comment basically a podcast episode 😉

IS. WHAT. Y O U. WANT. you don't get a whole separate award show just because you want a participation award, small streamers get awards in the actual streamer awards. qt is not going to put on a whole nother big event with big planning for a separate awards show. SMALL. STREAMERS. AND. BIG. STREAMERS. ARE. BOTH. STREAMERS. big streamers don't get their separate awards show, small streamers don't get theirs. it's all included. please get a grip. also you're british so your opinion is invalid anyways.

and if you want such a pointless event anyways... Host. It. On. Your. Own. qt's streamer-awards is an incredibly impressive event mostly put on by herself. it already takes a ton of planning and effort to put together and do, so.. why don't you make this whole separate thing yourself? you have an idea for something, so put it together yourself, don't put it on someone else to do it for you.

I think this is a respectable take, however comma this idea would not benefit anyone. There is a streamer competition hosted abt yearly called 'streamer camp' basically highlights smaller streamers for a week featuring about 12 streamers or so. I compare this to that because it is essentially useless except for the fact that it would provide the host "qt" infinitely more benefit than the creators featured. This just feels a lil fictional. I realize you keep asking 'who are these people' but this award show is basically just a highschool award show, it's nothing crazy. Wish you the best ml
