I was taking a dump and heard my phone across the room buzz that a new super gt video was out. Needless to say, I put my mixture to lean 6 and crossed the pit line just to be here.

I was the Brazilian in the last race. It was the beginning of the week and as we all can see I was still very insecure with a proper pace in that track. I will always try to defend my position but always fairly. I'm glad you found our battle a respectful and entertaining one, I tried what I could even with my lack of skills and you managed to overtake me and run away, it was a pleasure and I can always learn from these battles!

Love this track Tbh, that sweeping corner and the hill climb and descent.
I think you put it well, its well-suited for GT3 cars. I feel like a lot of GT7's tracks were optimized for GT3 racing. I really miss the old tracks.

@@D3Vlicious I don't actually think that's a bad thing, necessarily - it makes for a great challenge - but I feel that so much. Trying to get a car to stay neutral in this game feels almost impossible. You either get terminal understeer or constant oversteer.

Yeah, they butchered 2 classic tracks into generic FIAdromes just for the purpose, while simultaneously making the scenery less realistic for some reason. What they did to the Trial Mountain Yeet Chicane is criminal... especially since the berm is still there, taunting you from behind barriers. Was a GT fan from 2 through 6 but at this point I think the franchise as I knew it is pretty much dead.
These flowing tracks always take me the longest to come to grips with. I always struggle to find braking points and visible landmarks and the series of similar turns often gets muddled and I forget where I am on the overall track lol. Maybe I'll learn something from this video...

I find the flowing tracks a lot easier because once you get in the rhythm, it's really comfortable to keep putting in laps and improving my time. Tracks that doesn't flow well are a lot harder for me.

I remember this course from GT Sport. Once you find the flow of it, its really fun. It can be challenging to pass but can make for some great racing.
That Yelan livery at 1:25. That’s a man of culture.
Love this gorgeous track. I do 4-6 laps with advanced time progression to see it lit in various levels of glory.
Your editing and pacing with the video is getting really good. I can tell just within the last 12 months. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!
This track has a roller coaster kinda flow to it in this direction, I like it.
Your content carries me throughout the days thank you Super GT
Great stuff Super GT !! I do remember you having a hard time with wins maybe a month ago… hyped to see you getting these race wins. Great content and race Pace ! GGs
I wish you the happiest new year anyone ever had! Keep it up
I finally did it, a few months ago I got the setup (TM T300 + pedals) and a couple days ago I bought GT7. Today I won my first daily race in Alsace, but I have to admit after years following you, only now I can fully appreciate and understand how insanely clean and composed your lines are, you might as well be on rails... Damn I've got so much work to do 😅
You are so consistent with your content and I guess you must love doing what you do! Cheers keep up the great work 👍
Nice one Steve! Loving the reverse layout
It makes me think of the track in Virginia in Forza 7, it’s a strange layout but lots of fun when you learn it! I just found your channel today and I feel like I’ve been missing out a lot, love the videos!
I like how he overtakes 4 cars right after posting a short saying he wish overtaking was easy, showing him overtake 4 cars. Super is just that guy
Love watching you drive, GT. Thanks for the great racing.
I get so excited when I get off work and see a new video right when I click on KZread. I'm horrible at the game and live vicariously through you
Great video mate!
Oh yeah! Another top notch enjoyable vid from SuperGT on Friday 13th.. LOVE TO WATCH IT
I had this game since the beginning of December and I still struggle to even drive it regularly let alone in reverse but did thoroughly enjoyed this video so much

Thanks for the content bro!
0:35 Totally agree, once I ran a few laps & learned the track I really started to like the way Alsace Village Reverse flows for me.
1:15 I wonder how David Croft would react to this.
Always a pleasure watching you race, I don't own a PS5 (PC Player) so I can't play GT7. ACC is as close as I can get and I always learn more about racing others closely from you :) Thank you!

As long as you’re (very) patient, there’s nothing other than load times wrong with the PS4 release, should you find a cheap one for sale. Though I don’t know if your PC wheel is PlayStation compatible; if you’ve got to buy a wheel upgrade as well then this all gets a bit too prohibitive.

@@IainLambert Thanks for the heads up, I think I'd rather wait for PS6 release since the PS5 has been out for a little while. I use a Moza R9 so it won't work on consoles sadly, but I love the look of GT7 I hope they can port it over to PC someday :) I heard GT7 can be pretty good even on controller, so I wouldn't mind not using a wheel on consoles.

@@thecop2482 that’s the other place where the PS5 version handily beats the PS4, yes - the new DualSense controller provides easily as good feedback through the haptic triggers as my Logitech wheel manages.

@@IainLambert What?! I never knew that! Wow honestly that blows me away, I knew that they had some haptics like always but not for the triggers that sounds fantastic. I'll keep an eye out for anything about the PS6 and give it a shot! Fingers crossed I'll be able to get one on release day :)
"The strangest track on Gran Turismo" Cape Ring : "Bro forgot me for real"
I listen to your videos while coocking. I don't know why but its fun to imagine the race :D greetings from germany
I enjoy it as with the wide track and fast flowing corners it is very St Croix like in driving approach. Takes some getting used to as to how early you can start exiting the corner because of the forgiveness of the extra width
Great vid as always
Your commentary is top notch my g Greetings from 🇲🇿
Good Vid! I've been dedicated to running the M6GT3 fighting off GT-R's all week, Had pretty good success with it and staying pretty competitive. Yet to break into the 1:49.xxx's yet, My PB 1:50.155 is taunting me lol
I delved into racing online on GT7 for the very first time this afternoon, was racing Group 3 around this track, it is slightly odd, the cambers on this configuration are the thing that really catch me out but great for online racing as there are so many "error generators"!
I love this track, lots of Pedal to the metal!
You were just too consistent for me bro! Well done!
A perfect quadruple old Alsachay switchroo. You love to see it
I actually love that track in both versions. Unfortunately, it's one that will take tons of carnage as many drivers are not patient enough to wait for their chance but rather punt you and take the penalty or in some cases, not getting a penalty at all. Great clean racing my guy.
Crofty prolly would die of heart attack if he sees the ol switcheroo at 1:19
A very enjoyable session! Well done

I hadn't driven this track in this format yet and wasn't so sure about it at the beginning of the week but it really is a good one. It has a good flow, mix of high and low speed corners, and rewards good driving but its width means you don't get overly punished by the mistakes of other drivers. I think the Porsche nearly came close to being competitive with the GTR this week but I haven't raced since Tuesday.
Always happy when Scott makes an appearance
Enjoyed watching this track, also like a but if tone trial mixed in.
1:20, crofty’s head explodes in the commentary box
I absolutely love this circuit. I think the views are better for the reverse layout as well. You know, if you have time to look!
I drive this track in GT Sport a lot and found that, it is a very smooth flowing track when you can hit your marks.
Not only are we blessed with a new vid, but also a quad-switcharoo
I absolutely love this track the flowing nature of it is so mesmerizing
hi, love your videos, noticed the sound of the game is a bit lower in this one, i think it's best if we hear it a bit more
Probably my favourite track, it reminds me a lot of some of the roads we rode m/cycles on in the Adelaide Hills of Sth Australia. Minus the curbing. Not everyone survived unfortunately.
That quadruple switcheroo was phenomenal 💯🔥
Very good driver and video 🏁🏁👍👍
Gotta admit, that's by far the best old switcheroo i've seen in my life
1:24 Yeah, I'm gonna need to find that Yelan livery lol.
A lot of medium speed corners, wide track, banked/cambered and overall not long straights ending in a sudden hairpin/square type corner... Honestly this track looks super fun to drive. Wish I had a ps5. Thanks for the video!
Wish it was the normal way round, but the reverse ends up having a real nice flow. I'm preferring the 911 round here. Just glad to see PD put an unused track in the dailies (think so anyway), been really enjoying the racing here too
Hello there Steve.i havent raced this track that much on gt7 but on gt sport i enjoyed it way more that the standard track.i really cant get to grips whith that one.have a nice one .
For me this is one of my favourite tracks so far. ive had so much fun with it. Looks like SGT did too
I usually watch your videos to sleep But I think yesterday I didn't even make it to the second lap XD
So much carnage from in my daily races here.
Making the GTR train scratch behind both their ears is a good series.
I love to see you go against all the GTRs with the lone non-GTR car of the race XD
This is one of the most beautiful tracks in GT7. The track layout, the environment, absolutely top notch. I love this track!! 🤩👌👍✌
GT's back and he's in the bimmer. Should be a good video.
I was just play GT7, so now I'll eat food and watch Steve play GT7 Feels good
Are there online races with more like oldtimer racecars like the 190E or even the R31 Silhouette and such? Would love to see that!
The quadruple ole switcheroo… incredible scenes
Actually, my appreciation for sim racing began with this track! My first three hour session of grinding was here. I think it's a really cool track!
fantastic commentary
Incredible scenes
Haven’t been able to get a clean race on this track 😢😢
I really like this track, probably my 2nd favourite of the new gen fictional circuits, after lago maggiore
That quadruple overtake was ridiculous 😅
all hail almighty suicharoo ! lol, thx for sharing, keep them coming, aum, s love nia
I think I need to look at my gearing in the corners. A lot of these corners I am taking in second gear, whilst the faster guys take a higher gear. I guess to get on the power sooner? I did it in the porsche 911 though
i am honored to have witnissed the first reccordet quadruple ol switcheroo
your recent videos are sooo much better :) I like them. I'd like to see your alter egos, like Scott, fleshed out more. Say for instance that he's a staunch patriot, and only drives american cars? or something of the likes :)
Hey Super GT, this is unrelated: could you do a video using puppets to explain the ol switcheroo in terms of the Vortex of Danger? Feel like I'm close to understanding the Vortex but having an actual example (and puppets) would really help
I love Alsace ,lots of fast sweeping corners, and you can maintain a lot of speed through most of the track. Plus it's an incredibly historically relevant part of the world.
@Super_GT it'd be nice if you could show which car you use at the beginning of the race. thank you for considering 🙂
Great track for drifting!
i love this track. its one of my favorite tracks in the game
I’m a forza Motorsport guy but I can’t deny gt7 has far superior community racing going off of your videos and others. A lot more respect it seems.
quad switcharoo was legendary 🙏🏽
I underrated the track myself. After a few laps, I feel in love with it. Alasca! No, wait, Alsace!
Wider tracks are so much more enjoyable, there’s so many overtaking spots so it makes it really interesting to watch
I really enjoy racing here in the gr3 cars.
Steve what in game settings do you use abs waht setting etc im asking alot of gt7 creators this.
Super GT voice is so soothing.
Would that quadrupal overtake be the first recorded case of moses effect this year?
I don't even have the game but I can say from a spectator view, this track is really fun and interesting! Lets see Scott Speed his way up to P1 next time!
One of my favorite track in both layout..
Racing this course in both directions is a challenge. Elevation changes and acute corners make for a frustrating time if you overdrive. Trust your pace, brake a moment later than the AI and hit the apex for a technically exhilarating experience. Didn't like this course at first, but fell in love with it. Makes for very close racing. Definitely a defensive drivers' dream so get out front early.
