Thanx just discovered this show! Love old time radio! Great!🎃
So classic! Great stories. Thank you. Must have been great listening to these while sitting on the rug in front of a Philco tube radio set and having some malted milk and chocolate cookies back in the 40s. I'm glad the tape hiss has been left untouched. It really adds to the experience.

Great show! Thank you for this - the old commercials are fascinating as well!
I enjoyed the strange Dr. Weird. Listened on December 15, 2022. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
This is great stuff, have to agree with vivia boe below, without the excellent work of volunteers this and programmes like it would almost certainly be lost for ever.
With Ed Lattimer as Charlie in Stand-In For Death and as Mr. Baxter in The Secret Room which also features Tony Barrett as Karl, Carl Emery as Franz Muller and Philip Clarke as Hans!
Wonderfully spooky! Love the character doctor weird!❤🎃
Love these old shows
That was fun!! 💀
Thanks for sharing this !!
What a delightful pleasant show to listen to a few weeks before Halloween 🎃. I want to go out right now and purchase myself an Adam Hat 👒, although I question whether it’s actually spelled Addams.
Great video!
SO great!
thanks for the upload!
The second story was more tightly written than the first. Interesting that they both involved a bad guy being sealed into a closed space to await death from suffocation or starvation.
Thanks for posting the radio programs without an introduction - i really appreciate it. the other person talks for like over a minute - i always just skip it all - at the least sorta boring, ya know? so thanks :}

Go O'Hara!
Are you sure it isn't called the Weird Dr. Strange?
Great except for idiotic comment -- boring, ya know? People who go out of their way to insult volunteers are worse than boring, ya know?

please expound.
Tony was doomed as soon as the coffin was locked, and if Ohara knew what was up, he should have locked the coffin first, before giving any sign he'd noticed, and not saying anything until he had stepped away. Tony might kill him out of spite as soon as he realized what happened. But really Tony should have shot Ohara as soon as he approached the coffin. Tony isn't very smart, but neither is the writer of this tale.
_I don't hear a thing_
Strange Dr. Weird, lol, talk about being redundant. They tried so hard to be scary, with the names and titles of these OTR shows. One of the most cringe... "the skull that walked", lol
