@@stinkynacho2362 literally everyone at the assembly was crying. Honestly I think it did affect everyone at least for the rest of the day. I think everyone who was there learned to appreciate the time they had with people the loved. Honestly it's the best assembly I've ever been too. Overall yes it had an impact and I think it was a very good message.

I can feel this guy. I lost my dad to covid I loved my dad sooo much but I felt like never showed it. When he passed i was sad i but tried to keep strong for my mom the next day i was just sitting at the table quietly I was thinking of all the time he did stuff for me and I repaid him with anger I was mean to him. My mom comes in the kitchen she ask if I'm ok then i broke down and said no i told her how i felt and we hugged for a long time. I miss my dad very much❤

I always act this way with my dad. I'm a high school student. Whenever I'm out with friends my single parent dad will call me at like 10:30pm and make sure I'm okay. And every single time, he would say, "You know I can't sleep unless I know you're okay." and I would just shrug it off. Whenever I get home, he would come knock on my bedroom door & try to have a conversation with me, I would just make small talk until he left. He would always write notes and leave it on the kitchen counter saying stuff like "I'll be home shortly, and I'll fix dinner when I get home. Stay inside, be safe. Love, Dad." He would always tell me he's proud of me. I would just ignore him. Same with my sister. She just graduated high school and unexpectedly moved out when no one was home. It broke my dads heart. Now whenever I move out, he will be all alone. I feel horrible for the acts I have done. My dad always gives me advice. "Know who your friends are and who your friends aren't" "Don't lie. It will follow you around until someone finds the truth." "Be thankful for what you got, not what you don't got" "Sleep and eating properly are the best things for you." The list could go on, but it just goes to show you how much he truly cares and believes in me and I just keep shrugging it all away. This video really inspired me to appreciate my father and the things he does for me in my 16 years of life. What I learned from this is that although it is sometimes very annoying for your parents to over-care for you and always make sure you're okay, it's amazing to know that they're the one person to believe in you and love you the most. Embrace it, because I definitely will. Thank you, Dad. I love you.

Haley Pink This just made my heart melt. I'm very close to my dad and your dad reminds me of my own. We are extremely close but that wasn't always the case. I adore him. Just from reading this let's me know even though you didn't take heed to what your dad was saying at the time, you were definitely paying attention. Even when he thought you weren't. Please show/ read this to him and I'm sure this is the clarification he needs. He did a phenomenal job with you and at such a young age you get it. Life is extremely short. Hold on to him as long as you can. Tell him you love him every chance you get. Myself being a parent having raised girls (children period) I can tell you it's by far one of the hardest yet most rewarding things a person can do, and we just want to know that our kids have gone on to be better people than we ever could be. Show him that his words did not go in vain. I wish you all the best in all you do and tell your Dad that I said he ROCKS!

Dia lolster if you have friends that are junkies and they know it's not right, tell them you can't be friends with people like that. I've had certain friends and as soon as they said they were going to get into something they shouldn't, I refused to have any part of it. No matter how long you have known them, your safety is much more important than whatever peer pressure you go through. If they are doing drugs, ignore them. They are not good friends.

Great words honestly i might not cry because I don't really show my emotions anymore part because of how I was raised.I still love my mom and I'm pretty close to her but there are always times when we scream at each other but I can always come back to her and say sorry.but I know she won't be there forever so I respect and cherish no matter the hardships I go through...loneliness..and the struggles of bad friends.I feel like my life is already over even though im only 15 but when your personality is as weak as mine from being put down by others you don't really see hope in life as you cant fix this problem. this make me remember when my dad passed away 6 years ago. i was at game center when my cousin message me on facebook that my dad is sick and i need to go home, i ignored the message cuz my dad is always like that when he wanted attention from people, 2 hours later my cousin message me again that i need to go home cuz my dad just passed away. i look down the floor, my chest is hurt, can't even crying. when i arrived at home and see my mom standing and looking at me, i'm starting to cry and hug my mom, and i say "mom why dad still sleeping ? why everybody is in here ? they can wake him up". it's wierd to know that the person you've met everyday since you're kid, teach you how to ride a bicycle, carrying you to bed when you fall asleep on living room, the place to hide when your mom angry, is gone forever. 6 years has passed and i'm still miss him so much

That’s what happened to me but I was 7 and I was in primary school and I got taken out at break and my nana picked me up and said ‘we have to go home’ and I was confused and said ‘why’ and my nana said ‘because your mum wants to see you’ and I thought what about dad, and can’t she see my after school. I got home and my dad was on a stretcher pale behind the sofa and I thought he was sleeping and I waited until he woke up, I was only 7 and I didn’t understand what happened so I went to school the next day and everybody was asking what happened but I didn’t really understand it until now...
