Totally agree with this review. I felt like “you’re still in my way” was very tedious because of how predictable it was. I love the Return of the King reference in White shores as it captures that feeling of how fleeting life is and how grief is felt in those moments when you reach for your phone to call that person and have that reminder of their absence

Great review! Please review "Proper Dose", it's their best record imo.

You absolutely need to listen to their 2018 album that came before this, Proper Dose. I feel like to truly appreciate what they did with the album, you would at least need to skim through their first 3 albums as well.

As a fan of The Story So Far, I'm really glad you liked the album, this one was dedicated to Parker's father who passed away, so it makes it more emotional and special for me. I would recommend you their previous record Proper Dose because it is not straight up pop punk, it mixes indie and alternative rock elements as well as I Want To Dissapear
