Dear sir/madam who made this. You have truly outdone yourself. You included all of the side stories and hidden dialogues. I really appreciate the amount of thought you gave to this. You left in some key gameplay moments so it actually feels like a coherent storry rather than teleporting from cutscene to cutscene. 19 years later you can actually feel how complex and deep lore of Warcraft is. Nostalgia always brings me back here.

The fact that war broke out between the alliance and the horde soon after the death of Admiral Proudmore confirms that he was in the right and Jaina was naive.

GOD, Uther's death still hits home for me. so sad.

..this is classic ..I take it that it's mostly warcraft 1 2 3 tides of war..reign of chaos..stuff..before the leveling system and hyper advanced sandbox style mmorpg big league graphics..(2004)...that's what made warcraft what it is today... ...they should go back to these for ideas on storylines .. ..new races could be quillboar..centaur..murlock..ogre..naga..a few more..

I made this comment about 7 years ago, about 13 years after I saw the "TO BE CONTINUED..." AT 2:45:07. I never got to play the end of Frozen Throne after that. It's nice to see this video is still on KZread, still helping us relive the memories.

I think the Starcraft sequence only plays if the RoC campaign has been beaten on hard mode.

Really wish they'd just make wow an alternative universe. The RTS warcraft story and lore doesn't work with an mmo that well.

I just fucking realized that the founding of Durotar campaign was some sort of World of Warcraft pre-alpha......Since the response to this type of gameplay received so much positive feedback, they probably decided to fully work on Wow with the results we now know.

Actually they were pretty much full on WoW even before War3. In some interviews they were talking about stuff like Tauren, Kalimdor, Ancient Protectors, Ghouls and Gnolls before even releasing War3. It's more likely that War3's RPG elements were intended as a bridge to WoW from the very beginning.

It didn't come with the game box, you had to download it (later it was patched in). I didn't have internet back then so I only got to play it 2 years after the first map.

Yeah, they released this 3 mission episode (or was it 5?) like a "shareware/demo-version" at first, to attract new customers. I was also surprised it wasn't included in the bought game at first.

Drak'thul appears in World of Warcraft: Legion on the Broken Shore. It's a nice nod to Warcraft III.

Richardsen It's a novel-length Kael'thas fanfiction I've been writing for the past few years, primarily based on WC3 and BC, and attempting an alternate to the Face Heel turn. It's all plotted out and about 2/3 written/posted (On Ao3 and FF.net). I'm working on Dungeons of Dalaran chapter atm.

Steven Chase They say he was a genius among a race of geniuses. He was appointed by Sargeras to recruit demons to the BL's cause, like the Nathrezim for instance. He also created the Lich King, but that was a mistake, I think, cause Ner'zhul turned on Kil'jaden and became a sort of godlike being, creating the Scourge.

Garithos was truly a fool. He wasted his forces fighting the Blood Elves. Kael'thas might have helped against Detherac's possession as well.

When Maiev said that illadin would attempt to escape by sea, I was rather confused. He runs on water, so why bother taking a ship? Unless his feet actually ache from running across water.

Rexxar would go on to never actually come to Thrall and the Hordes aid when their needs were dire And only show up as a very background type npc guest towards the back half of the BFA expansion.

The clans came to the island, but it's obvious that not all the orcs went inside the tomb. Likely, Cho'gal and the rest of the clans' force were busy fighting Rend and Maim's clan outside.

Well.... because metalheads like em... 99% of the players in WoW doesnt even care for the story anyway. After all what the scourge caused, I doubt in reality anyone would have allied any sort of undeads. Night evles shouldnt have been a playable race either, nor taking part in any pointless conflicts.

knezoskin The Forsaken joined the Horde because they needed allies. Sylvanas knew they would be crushed between the humans and the Scourge. Without assistance, they had no hope. Sylvanas reached out for alliances, but was brushed off by nearly all the races until she approached the Tauren. Magatha Grimtotem, was perhaps the staunchest supporter of the Forsaken entering the Horde, and convinced the Horde that they could not only be redeemed, but also perhaps 'cured' of their curse. Their acceptance into the Horde was forged in a shared history of liberation - from the Burning Legion for the orcs, and the Lich King for the Forsaken. That said, there is mistrust to go around, and the alliance is one of convenience.
