PART TWO: • The Story of Warcraft ...
About this video:
This is a compilation of all my previous Warcraft videos. It contains all the cinematics and story-relevant campaign content, organised so as to be watchable as one (long) movie (for example, all credits are moved to the end, some logos were removed, added a short interlude about the events that were supposed to happen between Warcraft II and III etc.).
This was intended to be only one video, but because of its size I could not upload it to KZread in one piece at higher than 480p quality, so I cut it in halves in a spot that I felt was natural. Therefore, the contents from "Warcraft I", "Warcraft II" and "Warcraft III Reign of chaos" can be found in the first video, which you can access from this playlist or by clicking the link in the video description.
As always, for more information about the lore, check out wowpedia.org or Blizzard's official sites. Obviously, all the used content belongs to Blizzard and has only been edited by me.
For other versions of these campaigns (different resolutions or cleaner versions) check out the older videos on my channel.
I hope you enjoy watching this Warcraft "movie", at least until Blizzard gives us a real one ;)

Gave that old DnD t.v. series feeling, didn't it? A shame more people didn't get the opportunity to experience the sheer epic of those games when they were still up to par with many standards.

Lorewise, Kalimdor was undiscovered at that point, so since their "known world" consisted of just the Eastern Kingdoms, it might make sense for them to refer to that large gulf west of Khaz Modan as a great sea (or a part of the great sea that they hadn't yet fully explored). Gameplay-wise, it was the only in-game sea back then (and the name makes it sound exciting for the people waiting to play a game which introduces naval warfare to the franchise :) ).

The music in WC3 and WoW Vanillia really played a big part in setting the tone. The campaign maps where small, but the music gave me the impression of how vast and ancient the world is.

2:31:54 my second-favorite bit of dialogue in the whole series ("the traitor king!" "who, me?" "they were referring to me, death knight" is my favorite). The foreshadowing here, the descent into madness, Arthas is already blinded by his ambition. Chills run up my spine hearing it.

@@AnMComm I worded it poorly. I was saying that the bit at 2:31:54, "this howling wind cuts to the bone, and you're not even shaking. My lord, are you all right?" as foreshadowing. It's my second favorite line of dialogue in the series, maybe my second.

Something I kinda miss about the Alliance that was in Warcraft 2 was how, although warriors of light and the good guys, they could be just as merciless and vicious as the Horde. They would put Orc heads on pikes, minor peasant uprisings were met by the blades of the knights, they razed the capital of Alterac to the ground with no mercy, and they were a very desperate alliance of nations that didnt really get along united only to fight off the Horde. Stormgarde and Gilneas left the Alliance shortly after victory lol.

I never played Orcs and Humans, but I remember the old Warcraft II games on Mac that I had with my brother and friends that lasted up to or in some cases over 3 hours sometimes on Garden of War. Everyone sending peons / peasants to start small bases both to take the goldmines and to start cutting into the centre mine...Of course a lot of times it devolved into spamming sappers / demolition teams and sending them in to clear the path. And if I recall correctly, Gold Mines actually had health and you could destroy them, though it was hardly worth the effort attacking the mines because of the insane amount of health they had.

Guys i still has several questions How ner'zul, a death knight raised by Gul'dan, become Lich King and how the scrouge was born ?

  • @Arkosh888

    @Arkosh888

    4 жыл бұрын

Nerzul was not a death knight. Nerzul was the mentor of guldan. He became the lich king or jailor of the damned because of the pact between him and the burning legion. The scourge was born in icecrown and spread through eastern kingdom to make way for the invasion of the burning legion. It was supposed to weaken the defenses of azeroth

Ner'zhul escaped through one of the portals he opened, but found Kil'jaeden and a Doomguard welcoming party on the other side. The demons captured him, forced him to cooperate and turned him into a ghost animating a suit of armor frozen into ice.

They just weren't into advertising them. I see volumes. Much like the lord of the ring. So many tales from all races and all interesting , exiting an unique. Not to mention the wars are dam good, as we see in this video. The novels come with the WOW game right? Some bookworms won't buy the game just for the novel most people don't even know how good the story is, as they are not gamers. Regardless I'm getting my hands on those novels thank you man!

Moses Carcamo No, they don't come with the game, you have to get them separately. They're just not very well written.

+JohnPepperoni1 No its actually from the game itself.. When you complete a mission in Warcraft where you see the score board or some stuff.. He sometimes says: "If only these humans could fight as well as they DIIIIIIE" And it sound fucking awesome.. You can go play the DOS version if you google it ^-^
