Hear how Tom, from Plymouth in the UK, took part in the Eden Project’s Big Lunch Extras community camp and came back “energised”, “reinvigorated” and “empowered” to develop his urban farming idea. He’s now encouraging local residents to cultivate their own small patched of land in Plymouth’s Whitleigh neighbourhood. Via informal events around basic vegetable growing, he hopes to get more local people outside interacting with and benefitting from their local environments again.
