So the villagers discouvered the sniffers but then the pillagers almost took them out but one remained but then a flood happned but there were still eggs remaining thats how the ocean ruins were formed

This is the background story to my previous sniffer video.

The reason why you should vote for the sniffer.

The sniffer was extinct since 1903, then scientist found the egg in 1975 and uses the shot for the baby to come alive then swimmers from the sea found the egg and a Baby sniffer came alive!

Yeah, nice one. Animation looks again a bit rushed, but still pretty nice idea with this water plane at the end. Was that an ocean modifier or animated noise texture? One thing I noticed there was that the caustics were a bit too intense. The story is pretty though the sniffer might have existed before the villagers and illagers separated (don’t ask questions)

Thanks! Yeah, the water plane was actually a Dynamic Paint Physics simulation and I probably could have toned down the caustics though lol!

Well, everything is in eevee, so I made the caustics with a volume cube and a sun light shining through a textured plane.

Well, it’s not very sad in the end because the player can always return the sniffer species to its original glory.

Just like any other animal the mother sniffer has put the safety of its eggs before its own life 1:04
