Howdy Mr. Muskrat . Nice thing about those Ferguson tractors just like the Ford N series tractors is they where easily worked on by the owner/farmer with basic tools and knowledge. Parts are fairly available and inexpensive also Sir. Stay safe and have a great day Ya'll

Those are great little tractors. Except for not having a loader bucket, they are perfect for most of what I need to do here.

@@MuskratOutdoors I know somebody did build buckets for the Ford tractors kind of like after market back in the day but can't remember who the manufacturer was Sir.

Your chickens seem to be pretty happy, they sure do like to cluck ! Better get up on the mountain and get that trailer filled with firewood again !

Good morning Gary. Those damned mice! Sometimes when I've trapped them, other mice will cannibalize them. That is some wind. We had dark clouds roll in yesterday and rain poured for about 20 minutes. We didn't ger that kind of wind though. Have a good day my friend.

Good Morning! They do! That, and anything in my fur shed. Both skinned, and unskinned! I think I'm going to have to go to war with them soon. Today is the halfway point of the year, we will be trapping again before we know it!

It sure is! I never knew they would do that! Killed that canary while it slept on it's perch!

I use my York rake with half the times removed to ruff up the ground, then back drag the ground with bottom of the tractor bucket to flatten. My driveway is 1500’ long and dirt so I have to maintain it myself. Or maybe I’m too cheap. Either way rocks tend to pack into the gravel that way. Just an idea. There’s been some amazing storms out your way this season. I hope the greenhouse holds up. 👍👍

I think today I'll wet it down some too. They sent out a pack of 4H kids and got them to pick rocks! Brought in some fill dirt too!

Good morning young man. Like your splitter barrel wood catcher. As far as the rocks at the fairgrounds, a paving roller with a vibrator would compact the soil. Just a thought for a easier fix if they would rent one or know somebody with one. anyway have a great safe Tuesday. May it be uneventful.

Good Morning! Thanks! It's a race car "slick" tire with the sidewall cut out. It works great! Good idea about the compactor. It needs something for sure.

Bout the only time I had much use for a mouse was when I saw one that had a big black stink beetle in it's mouth. His cousins wanted to tear stuff up, make nests, urinate on stuff, eat the Mrs' poses, but that one was a big game hunter. He was all right. Till the day that little bugger bit my big toe .

It's weird! Usually we get a few, but this year there has been more than normal... Some of the rain we have had, if it was Winter, would be feet of snow too!

I think it is. I scraped out some more today, but they brought in some dirt/gravel mix to fill in under the barn and burry a lot of these.

I'd never would of thought a mouse hunted.

No, I ended up burring it with the tractor. It had been doctored. Nothing seems to touch them after that.

I've had rats kill young chicks and adult quails, it seems there moreattack live game when they have little ones or are pregnant, they hunt for more higher protein I think. Yes seen had lots of dead mice in traps that were eaten partially
