24 Hour Grub Killer here amzn.to/33fZu6c Also, I realize the thumbnail is cheesy - but sometimes ya gotta let me have some fun too. Truth be told though, this is good info that will help a lot of people. If you don't believe me, go to your local HD or Lowes and look at the people with blank stares of fear in their eyes this Saturday. Maybe you can help a neighbor get results from the knowledge gained in this video.

The Lawn Care It’s spring, and I’ve never treated, so do I use season long, or 24 hour kill now? Thanks!
It's like Allyn was reading my mind to put out this quick tip. Thank you sir, excellent timing.
thank you. this video was more informative in 50 seconds than 500 other videos I have watched in the last week. simple, to the point. good on you, sir!
Thank you Allyn, I never knew there was a difference. See, everyday I learn something new from you.. Many thanks.
These quick tips kick ass. Short and to the point. Thanks!
Thank you for this! Went with grub killer/fert mix. Area almost completely recovered! As I planted this grass--aftrr clearing my yard and starting from scratch--I am heavily invested in its success!
Appreciate this, to the point and informative!
Thanks for the tip Allyn!I have skunks tearing up my lawn as we speak. And I used the former earlier this year!
Nice no long vid explanation just do this. This was the vid I was hoping to find.
Great Quick Tip Vid Allyn! Its important as well. I was over in the NY Lawn Care Nut Facebook page yesterday and I had to correct someone over there that was going to use Grub-Ex. I like these little tips! Keep-um up! Chad Upstate NY
That tip was so quick it left me wanting more
Great tip!! Love the video when it gets right to the point.

Awesome advice! Glad I read the label earlier this year, otherwise the issue would never had resolved.
Literally could not have come at a better time. I was on the porch enjoying a beer waiting to move a sprinkler and saw a brown thrasher (our state bird) swoop down and grab a grub right out of the middle of my fall seed project minutes before you posted this video.

Thanks, didn't know there was a quick kill alternative product. I always thought you had to get it down beforehand as a preventative. Good to know thee is something you can apply that goes to work immediately.
Hopefully this will help with my mole problem. TY
Great video. Can you outline which Chemicals are the season long ones vs “kills in 24 hours”? Thanks for all that you do!
Perfect timing LCN! I thought I had drought stress but noticed the turf pulls up like a carpet very easily in many spots. Would you treat the whole property with 24hr killer or just the infected areas? I have about 12k sqft of grass.
Great tips. Thanks
Just the quick tip 👍🏼
Good stuff!
Thanks Alan I just threw seed dow will throwing the grub prevention affect the grass seed ?
Can I put it in my new zod
So I put new seed down and then had a few days where the temps got hot and humid and gave me some brown patch in my new turf type tall fescue grass. I was wondering if I can use Scott’s disease ex on grass that is about a month old? I’ve mowed twice
Can I apply grub control at the same time as over-seeding my lawn ? Will it stop germination ?
What month do you apply the season long?
What’s up ,Allyn can that be used on newly seeded grass , baby grass
Hello its fall in Massachusetts, and I've found grubs in some spots....my lawn is mature, lush and green. Should I dump some kill diwn or do a final round of fert and hope for the best? Usually dont do a grub control......well water and 99% organic.
He's serious today.... No Eggs about it..... 😆
I used the 24 hour exact product how often do I have to treat my lawn
Which is better, bio advanced grub control or Grub ex?
When can I put Plant food down after using this? Thanks
I laid this down and it got watered in with a nice gentle soaking rain 2 days ago. But I still see some granules on the dirt. Does this break down 100% or is this just a filler piece left over? I have a BIG grub issue...well and voles. But I know I need different things for voles. But also need to seed the yard and get this yard back to living grass.

I treated my raised bed with the 24 hr grub treatment,, how long should I wait to plant my tomatoes
If you use grub control will you definitely get rid of moles?
I live in Ontario Canada. Where can I buy the Bio-Advanced Grub Killer or equivalent
We have a bird's nest that just has new hatchlings. Do you think we could hurt the birds by using the 24 hour. I pulled up some grass to expose the grubs and the mother knows that there are much food under our lawn now. I was thinking of leaving them for the season since it is now May and just treat them with a seasonal so I don't hurt the ecosystem near me. Thoughts?

Good morning Allyn, not sure if it has been brought up before, if so, pls direct me to the correct video. Here goes: how can I prep my lawn to avoid moles(in the future) i know they are attracted to lawns based on moisture and food source(grub/worm abundance). Just a few days ago I got a visitor trying to settle in..., I follow you and have watched many of your awesome video tips to maintain grass in good condition. Will be watching this one after my comment.... I do not believe in killing animals(that probably be hubby's solution)..., I want to humanely deter it so it can leave my property and upkeep it so they never return. I am in central FL, just above Orlando area, I have zoysia and it's cut down to about an inch because I have dogs (lots of them, I am also a pet nanny) and it's easier for cleanup. I do not have urine stains for I take care of my lawn well, but the unwanted visitor is starting to ruin what I worked so hard for..., it's edging its tunnels along the driveway and sidewalk now, won't be long before it/they start digging into the center and then I will go nuts when i see my grass and dirts turned over!!! Heeellllppppp!!!! 😩😩😩😭😭😭😭😭 * I have no grubs, but i have noticed a significant amount of what looks like small moths within my grass.., weird to me, but it's the first year in 6+yrs living here that I've noticed.
Is it safe to use in a garden? Or while it make my plants none edible?
Is it possible to break the grub cycle?
Absolutely! Put down Duocide this past weekend. Killin' my bermuda! 60% chance of rain Monday... didn't rain.. :(

They are both good but, they are different. 24 is what it is. Season long will give you more control. Once you water it in you will nock out the grubs. When the June bugs blows into your yard from the neighbors, it will kill the new hatchings. Dead June bugs on your side walk is an indicator that your lawn is infested again. That’s why season long is better.
Or over seed naturally and heavy for 2020 fall grub harvest and sustainable grub scampi.

I thought we might be getting the green screen back
My county recently banned all pesticide (and herbicide) apps for residential lawns. Threw down Merit in Spring so no issues this year. Any suggestions for effective organic preventative treatment next year? Have yet to see effective control with milky spore in the region (mid Atlantic) over the years but will try it on my own lawn if it’s all I got!
@Thelawncarenut

I hear this is happening more and more. I'd say just be more mindful of your lawn in fall time and if you do have a problem do the best you can with some of the more natural remedies out there. Also since Milky Spore is your only option you may as well try it and hope for the best 😂

I know this is a little bit late but. Jonathan Green makes and organic grub control. I just tried it this year. It's supposed to work really well. It only lasts about 30 to 45 days so best to use it when the grubs hatch and their most vulnerable. The good thing is the stuff is non-toxic. It's pet and kid friendly. Make sure you already smell nice like winter green. And it does not kill beneficial insects. If you read the label on this grub control that is talked about in the video, it's pretty scary how toxic is. if you breathe that stuff in, it's not good.☠️

@@vincentlivoti4184 never too late - great info, thanks! I will definitively give it a try next season. Since the ban I haven’t applied any treatment the past couple years and had a few trouble spots. Should have attempted milky spore but always thought of it too late.

@@Derek-xr3uq I tried the Milky spores a few years ago when my kids are really little. I didn't want any toxic stuff on the lawn as they would run around barefoot. I had mixed results. You have to be consistent and use it. I think at least two or three seasons in a row for it to be effective. It takes a while for the nematodes to populate. They supposedly last about 6:00 to 10 years roughly.

My local Ace hardware carries it and you always get those Ace rewards discounts so it's not too expensive. Considering. Like everything else, the price has gone up. The last time I bought it, it was about $10 cheaper.
My high school GF enjoyed getting a quick tip every now and then...
Can I put down fert grub killer and lawn fungus all same day. ? All granular. Then let rain water it in ?
@Thelawncarenut
4 жыл бұрын
yep, just do them as separate apps - don't mix them all in the hopper together. And you will need to water in the grub control or it will not work, so don't wait for rain on any of it.

I wouldn't say that as a blanket statement, no. Pets, like humans, can have reactions to things. As an example, some people have terrible reactions to organic peanuts.

Similar type of ground penetrating pest control.
If I could round up a couple dozen of these grass eating booger's I'd use them for fishing bait. But, hopefully, they will be dead after I follow your suggestions.
