The rules of Mak'gora from the book: 1. Each combatant choses a weapon of his choice. 2. Each combatant choses a shaman to bless his weapon. 3.The only armor that is allowed is a piece of lien cloth. 4.Each combatant choses one witness for the duel!

I would like to see WoD's Grommash redeemed, come to realization of his wrongs and possibly even join (lead?) Azeroth's Horde, I think it would be the perfect way to redeem both Garrosh and Grommash and restore the base idea of various races working together while retaining the Orc theme that the Horde has been built on. Grommash unlike Garrosh is far more experienced and knows that other races are not burdens but beneficial, he knows to take help where he can get it and built real alliances. The major obstacle to this I see isn't anything on Azeroth, but Durotan himself. This could easily be resolved in Draenor by having them build a friendship from being stuck in a bad situation, or better yet, leaving Durotan to lead the Draenor Horde. The Alliance might be weary of Grommash on Azeroth, but I think generally it wouldn't be something war-worthy. This could also give Azeroth a better basis for the sort of 'Cold War' theme that it's been built on since Vanilla (excluding MoP).

sadly he died in draenor many years later....however we revisit there in a synchronized time period, so he is older, the draeneis went crazy because of the light and started murdering the orcs, extermination is what they got, and the daughter of idk who who of the orcs in draenor leads the current draenor remaining orcs to azeroth, pretty shitty ending seeing Yrel goinf nuts and killing the whole planet

That's a severely unfair advantage towards warriors since a shaman would be splitting his/her time or even devoting a significant portion of time toward shamanistic powers and not so much on physical, whereas a warrior would be focusing everything on physical. Doesn't make sense if shamans themselves were allowed to participate.

I thought this too, but then I just assumed it was a personal thing between the two (YOU made me Warchief! You left me... To pick up. Your. PIECES! You. failed. ME!" - Garrosh, "You must pay for you crimes, Garrosh" - Thrall/Go'el). They didn't lay down any rules before the fight - or rules that we knew of - so it was probably a "This ends here, just you and me, to the DEATH!" Like a battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron, you can use any weapons as long as you have them with you at the moment, just as long as one of you dies.

Maybe not tendrils. From what I've seen of halfbreed fan art in Warcraft. The halfbreed takes on the most physical traits from the genetically stronger individual. (In most cases, its the orcs) Since we do not see mok'Nathal (half orc/ogres) with horns, we see that people like Rexxar or lantresor The Blade retain many orcish traits, they simply have a bigger size to them and possibly a few other defects. In the terms of Orc/Draenei, which most of the time was not done consensually; and as for Garona Halforcen, the only real Halfbreed between an orc and Draenei I care to mention. She didn't have many Draenei traits. In fact she pretty much looked like a green human, human hands feet, with some definite orcish features like Green skin, muscle tone, tusks. tl:dr basically half breeds are a very tricky subject in wow because there's very few to mention. The offspring of one of these couples take on the defining genes of one of the parents. Either an Orc, or Human and as we've seen, even Draenei. We haven't seen evidence of any other halfbreeds in other cultures thus far. But I theorise that is due to them having non compatible genes to procreate.

I'm not gonna hate on the fight itself, I don't believe we've ever had a set of rules for it. Here's the best part though, Garrosh's whole spiel during the fight? He's absolutely right! Thrall DID leave him to fix his mess. Everyone told him it was a bad idea, even Garrosh didn't think he could handle it. I hope they don't try to pass it off as nothing, it would be nice to have Thrall realize it's kinda sorta his fault. They had a bit of it in War Crimes.

  • @Nooctae

I agree. I mean, Garrosh's actions went extreme during MoP in particular, but that can be explained by the Sha of Pride and everything, but in the end, everything that happens to the Horde since Cataclysm is Thrall's fault for leaving the Horde by itself. Which is a big reason why I would have been very angry if they made Thrall warchief again with no consequences.

  • @wittyreviewer

    @wittyreviewer

    9 жыл бұрын

***** I don't think Garrosh was under the influence of the Sha of Pride, not from the start of MoP anyway. Look at it all from his perspective. You were raised on tales of your father, how he betrayed them all and he was a terrible leader so on and so forth. Then Thrall comes a long, and tells you how great he was, how he saved them all in the end. Thrall brings him back to Azeroth, to see how the Horde works, and what does he find? Us chasing a pacifistic stance. I mean yeah, we fought the Alliance, but out and out war was never declared. Then we send him to Northrend, by the end of which he's a war hero. Is it any wonder he took a more militaristic stance as Warchief?

So I mean put your self in Thrall's shoes, he was under so much stress from the elements and that faction of shaman (forgot the name) were telling him to come fix the giant whole in the earth. So I mean he didn't have time to think. I personally think Thrall is amazing although I liked him pre-cata but he seems to be going back to old him in WoD. He just needs his epic long hair back

RE: Azeroth reinforcements: Hey, so when you go to Ashran and see this base set up, what they say is that many of the forces that Khadgar left at the Black Portal, despite many deaths, managed to fall back to the islands just off the coast. Once there they began setting up but, as Khadgar was able, mages and warlocks start to open small portals. As such, they can bring in some supplies and forces but not major equipment like zeppelins or ships ((one npc says that he wishes they could've gotten a Zeppelin through and just bomb the alliance side during a random convo)). Eventually the tenuous pact broke down and we were back to fighting. It's not the best explanation, but it is one.

Thrall truly did fail Garrosh, put him in an impossible position. He got the title just as the entire world was literally falling apart, he was questioned at every turn by his so called advisors. Cairnes death isnt even on Garrosh's hands it was the bloodhoof that poisoned his blade and after that Garrosh had to deal with death threats from Voljin, Sylvanas becoming the new lich king and spreading her new plague and ressing people with the very same power that the lich king used(the valkyrs), the Taurens despised him after the death of Cairne AND they where consorting with the alliance. Goblins were just generally greedy and lacked honor and the blood elves just cared about themselves and their legacy and i mean they are elves, thats enough reason for him not to trust them. All he could rely on was the Orcs and thats why he started all this racist bullshit and despise of the other races of the horde. It wasnt because he was a bad person it was because they showed him that they could not be trusted and showed little or no fealty to him as a warchief. After he realized that his only true allies were the orcs and you look at it from his perspective he really did what was best for his people. Keep in mind that he is inexperienced and has some major daddy issues, its no wonder things ended up like they did. He was put in an impossible situation, got betrayed att every turn and still kept on fighting for what he thought was right. Its not just Garrosh's fault, and its not just Thralls either but a HUGE part of this whole business falls on Cairne and Voljin, had they served as the advisors they were supposed to be none of this would have happened. Had they showed trust and lent a helping hand to Garrosh things would have turned out very differently.

Dont forget who rebuilt Orgrimmar after Shatterize when Orcs were starving and brought order back in the ranks of the Horde. Garrosh of course. Even though this is just a game, I got attached to Garrosh, and seeing him die like that, dishonorably, its kinda pain. Well Blizzard was spitting enough on the Horde, I guess in next expansion they can spit some on the Alliance, them being baddies and such. Lok'Tar

Joshua King He knew Garrosh was aggressive and not fit to lead on his own. Thats why he appointed Cairne and Voljin to be his advisors. The most important aspect of Garrosh was his strenght both physical and mental, he never gave up and he never stopped fighting, Thrall knew this and he also knew the Horde would need a strong leader, there are few others in the Horde at that time that could match Garrosh's determination and strength. The more I think about it Garrosh was the only choice for Thrall, Cairne and his taurens are too soft and spiritual, Voljin doesnt really lead by example and is not the kind of leader the horde could look up to at a time of crisis hes brilliant but more of a tactitian than a leader. Garrosh was that white knight in shining armor that could bring back pride to the horde and who led by example. He was orcish pride incarnate and with the proper guidance(that he didnt get) he would have become a great warchief.

It was not the bloodhoof that poisoned Garrosh' blade. Caire and Baine are Bloodhoofs. Magatha was Grimtotem. It was the Grimtotem who poisoned Garrosh' blade. A huge difference. Also I am sure it was stated somewhere, that Thrall had no other choice at that point. After their duel, Garrosh was recognised as a warrior, and later in Northrend as a war hero. After Northrend, the orcs liked him. The majority of the Horde were orcs, and they wanted a war hero as leader. They demanded a war hero. Garrosh had accomplishments, while Vol'jin and Cairne were pretty passive at that time. And Sylvanas and Lorthemar were obviously out of the picture. The fact that many orcs even followed him down the True Horde path shows how much they loved him. So it wasn't like Thrall chose Garrosh over everybody else due to his own beliefs, but rather he had to choose Garrosh and pray that the others can steer him in the right direction. If anything, the others failed Garrosh. As far as the game goes, we haven't seen Cairne or Vol'jin trying to treat Garrosh in a non-violent way. They were threatening him and challenging him to duels. If they were *better* leaders than Garrosh, you would expect they could have influenced him in any way. They didn't. And since the game skips this time without ever mentioning this, it never really happened. Thrall put his faith in Cairne and Vol'jin, and they failed him.

Here are a few Nagrand references: Greatmother Geyah is a follower in Frostfire Ridge, and you might remember her as the leader of the Mag'har. The Grandsons that you fight make an appearance in the Badlands. Reglakk's experiments created the Penultimate boss in Highmaul The 4 elemental lords in Nagrand are present in the old Outland version. You meet Mankrik and his wife here (the younger versions). Sadly, not a lot of references in Nagrand references besides Challe and Lantrestor.

This is my theory for how the expac will play out. 6.2 we might explore the ogre continent, kill some badass ogres, destroy the empire, gather some loot. 6.3 preparation for completely bringing down the iron horde. 6.4 we face off against what remains of the iron horde, and have some void storyline pop in. Gul'dan and the shadow council will probably be handled privately in the legendary questline. Thoughts?

So Thrall steals a kill again from the Alliance, I mean what does King Varian and Anduin think about this? Does Varian's childhood memories strike him when the horde first took over Stormwind giving him the courage to take down Gromash, is this expansion going to involve them at all? Will Anduin follow the ways of the church as a priest or does he combine that with the teachings of a warrior and becomes a badass paladin like Anduin Lothar or Uther the Lightbringer. @Nobbel87 like you said said a lot of story to come can't wait to see, great video as always.

Been loving these videos XDDD Nobbel, did you use a still image of Vel'Koz from his teaser "hack" video? Also, and this is just my opinion - the Garrosh/Thrall showdown felt like a son letting out his frustrations to his father. Since Garrosh was left alone by his own father, Thrall kind of filled that role for him instead. it was interesting watching him throw all this back at Thrall, blaming him for leaving him to deal with the job and trying to handle the problems Thrall left behind. So, honestly Thrall could be feeling like he just had to put down his own son - something he had to do, but he definitely didn't like it.

I agree with thrall perhaps questioning the choices he made with garrosh, that mantle must weigh alot in terms of responsibility and garrosh was left alone to shoulder it all. It was an incredibly powerful cinematic and I just hope garrosh is still mentioned as the story continues.
