The Story of Layla's Weird Love Triangle

Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Pattie Boyd. Three people who'd find themselves in a vicious love triangle. A love triangle that would produce seminal tracks like 'Something', 'Layla', 'Bell Bottom Blues', 'Wonderful Tonight' and 'Blue for You'. This music documentary analyses this interesting period in the 60s and 70s, shedding light on the relationships that led to some of the most poignant love songs ever created.
Pattie Boyd's book 'Wonderful Tonight' is well worth a read if this video interested you:

Patti passed around like a trophy the ultimate groupie, caused some great songs to be written though..

To be fair to Clapton (and I don't know the whole story - only Clapton does), when he made the bet that he could get his name in the papers he obviously knew he was going to ask Pattie to marry him. He made the bet precisely because he knew he was going to propose; he didn't propose so he could win the bet.

If you do dirt when you're wrong, you will pay for it later. No doubt.

Harrison was a poor guitar player, Clapton was a disgrace in term of relationship, what could go wrong?

Let's not forget to mention that Clapton admitted in an interview to r_ping Pattie.
