Fantastic, and thank you for making such a great programme! I hope the BBC rebroadcast it again one day.
This is excellent, loved it. !
The starting point for my career as an audiobook narrator. I learned from watching and listening to Bernard Cribbins, Kenneth Williams, Richard Briers and the Dad's Army legends Arthur Lowe with the Mr. Men and John Le Mesurier with his inimitable "Here comes Bod." Forever grateful.
I am a boomer, so I was one of the children who used to watch this program, also remember 'The Wooden Tops' from 1959 and later in the 60's - listen with mother I recall with great nostalgia, time sure passes fast.
It's the programme that got me into reading . I am so thankful for it.
Enjoyed watching this. Sad to lose a talent like Bernard Cribbins. Thanks for downloading this.
Fantastic, thanks for making this available!
Great, thank you for sharing! Prince Charles narrating stories, what a lovely idea. Do you also have the Jackanory episodes?
I would love to watch the episodes with Michael Jayston but only one is available. Why?😥
Should never have cut it or changed the format.
Who was the very softly and well spoken black lady (NOT Floella Benjamin) that did a few Jackanory episodes. She had shortish hair and spoke beautifully. An attractive lady as I recall.. It's doing my swede in trying to remember her name or find a Google picture
Jackanory was great. The playhouse was blar.
