Wow, I'm mind blown. Our church talked about this man today and it was the first time I've ever noticed Jabez in the bible and he only has two verses . Then your video pops up less than an hour ago about the same man. The Holy Spirit moves in mysterious ways.

I was a backslider. God called me back. I repented and tried to live for God. One of my best friends shared the Story of Jabez. Thank you for this message

I have always used my past to judge myself and think I’m unworthy of God’s graces. That I do not deserve to make such bold requests as Jabez did. But I will change my mentality and strive to befriend God with faith and fervent devotion; and surely with a little faith I will share testimonies of miracles in my life. Amen

We are not worthy, that’s the whole point we do not deserve God’s grace or mercy and yet He delights to bless us with it. It is totally against what the world teaches which is basically the whole self esteem stuff that we can do anything etc but it’s not true, we are weak and sinful and completely without a way to rescue ourselves, we NEED to be rescued and God has sent Jesus to be that rescuer. Jesus is The Only One Who is worthy that is why He was able to take the punishment for our sin on the cross and die for it but because He is worthy death couldn’t hold Him and so He is even now in heaven praying for us!!!! We don’t deserve and have never done anything to deserve God’s love and grace and mercy. Once we realise that it is actually very freeing and also wonderful… we can come to God, admit our total unworthiness and then point to Jesus and say “but Jesus has paid it all!” And we remain unworthy but if we admit our sin and turn from it we can be washed clean in Jesus’ blood. I am a sinner, Jesus died for sinners therefore Jesus died for me!

Jabaze opened his heart to God,being truthful &humble. He wanted God understand what he wanted in his prayer by being humble.

I always say the Prayer of Jabez every night before I go to bed .I include my family and loved ones in it.

As a I was in my 20th years, I recall the revelation of this prayer, but I prayed this prayer not understanding what Blessing Jabez prayed for, the principal of this prayer is Spiritual and I then, didn't understand why circumstances where changing, circumstances I thought served me well, but instead was delaying me to live and love my Spiritual self.
