(Hadith Bukhari) Imagine if we used every spare minute we have in one day to say(Astaghfirallah) 3. "La Hawla wa La Quwatta illah billah" There is no power and strength except with Allah. The Prophet(ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that this is one of the treasures of Paradise. - (Hadith Bukhari) 4. "Surah Fatiha" can be recited in a minute The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that "Al Fatiha" is a cure for every poison- (Hadith Al Bukhari) 5. "The Darud Ibrahim. Allahuma Salli ala Nabiyina" "Muhammadin-"" O Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) "The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said: He who reads a single darood upon me, Almighty Allah blessed him ten times, he is increased ten times in the stages of Jannah and ten of his sins are forgiven- (Hadith Nisa'i) 6.( Alhamdulilah ) Gratitude is an important virtue! 7. "SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi adada khalqihi wa ridaa’ nafsihi wa zeenata arshihi wa midada kalimatihi "- "Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of, His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise) Reciting this praise 3 times in the morning will weigh heavier on the scale than doing dhikr from the dawn prayer to forenoon- (Hadith Sahih Muslim) 8. "Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi" - "Allah is free from imperfection and His is the Praise.. The Prophet (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said: if these words are recited 100 times a day, one’s sins will be forgiven even if they were equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean- (Hadith Bukhari and Muslim) 9. "Surah Ikhlas" can be recited in a minute,, (Surah 112) It is known to have the merit and reward of reciting 1/3 of the Quran- (Hadith Al Bukhari) Note: this does not serve the purpose of reciting the entire Qur’an rather it is 1/3 in reward,, 10." La illaha illAllah - There is no God but Allah" "If everything in the Seven heavens, besides Allah were placed on a scale and the statement "La illaha illAllah" was placed on the other side of it, the statement would weigh more - (Hadith Ibn Hibban and Hakim) "Make use of every minute that we have! Lest that on the Day of Judgement we regret that one minute we lost, that one deed that could take Us to Jannah! " May Allah swt,make Us all the owner of these Gems and make it easy to enter Janatul Firdus" (AAMEEN YA RABB) 🌸

It's definitely Cyrus The Great. He was a monotheist, abolished slavery and extremely powerful. He was the King of the Kings. The King of the Great Achaemenid Persian Empire which was the greatest empire at that time and possibly of all times. He wrote the first Human Rights Charter, built great monuments with PAID workers and not a single slave. He freed Bani Israel who were enslaved in Babylon and helped them reestablish Jerusalem. Hence the Jews in Medina knew about Cyrus as he was the only non-Bani Israeli mentioned in Torah as a Saint. To me it is very clear that it is Cyrus The Great

It wasn't Cyrus either because the title Dhul was most commonly given to rulers of Yemen which stands for the posessor of. When you add Qarnain onto Dhul it stands for the one who lived for 2 centuries. Technically the name implies a clue as to the origins of this legendary king. Apparently there was a letter written by his grandson who himself goes onto say that Dhul Qarnayn travelled from east to west and conquered kings thronged to this throne. This grandson goes on to say Bilqis (Queen of sheba) is his fathers sister and Dhul qarnayn came just before they took over the throne in Sanaa, Yemen.

Dont its not a beautiful name. its a nickname that indicates strength power, authority and in arabic means two horns. Would call your child two horns (English translation) or (two tribes) another (English translation) so why in Arabic. Think about it, he had that name because he was a fearless and a powerful human it wasn't his real name.

Cyrus, name given by men. Dhul Qarnain, name given by Allah from the holly Quran. Which name is better is undebatable. There was an attempt to confuse Dhul Qarnain with a similar character in Alexander the Great but unsuccessful. His name mentioned in Quran is not just a name but a clear description of the man, so that there will be no confusion. The name was chosen in the Quran because Allah knows best. Dhul Qarnain is greatly underrated because he is an enemy of the Greeks. However, Alexander himself was a great admirer and a fan of Cyrus. It was well documented that when Alexander conquered Ancient Persia, he went to the Tomb of Cyrus in Pasargadae and paid his respect. Alexander also had access to detail stories of Cyrus from many books at Plato's Academy because he was a student of Aristotle. The most influential book still read by western politicians today is Cyropaedia written by Xenophon in 370 BC. Cyrus was not only featured in Greek writings but also in Jewish scriptures, Christian Bible and the Quran. All which describe Cyrus as a righteous man, a virtuous leader and a great king. The connection between Dhul Qarnain and Cyrus is just my humble opinion as i agreed with recent scholars and their studies. I myself studying world history and anthropology. We are only human learning from past history and current discoveries but Allah knows best. Allahu Alem.

Isa is not coming back, Dajjal is not a Muslim concept, it somehow found its way to the hadiths but its a Christian concept, along with the whole second coming of Isa. sorry bro, but he is not coming back otherwise Muhammad peace be upon them both would not be the final messenger (keep that in mind). Honestly, if Dajjal was real than surely he would be mentioned in the Quran but he isn't.

I feel like there are most similarities and shared themes between Dhul Qarnayn and the historical Cyrus The Great of Persia. He was a devout monotheistic Zoroastrian and built a massive superpower based ok n tolerance and returned the Jews to Judah and even help foot part of the bill for the construction of the second temple from his own coffers. I've been reading Suratul Kahf every Friday since Islam blessed my life, but I never knew that Dhul Qarnayn was human? I always thought that he was an ANGEL. Astaghfirullah.

This man was chosen by Allah. His continued favor through time is a testament to this.

Why do people say Dhul Qarnayn was Alexander the Great. Even some scholars argue this. Alexander was a polytheist. This is therefore not true.

There are forms of the old Greek religion that believed that the gods of olympus weren't literally The god. Plato believed that this god took nothing to do with this world. Aristotle, Alexander's teacher, believed that God had a will. Lucentious was another who believed all gods were lies and was an atheist. It's possible that Alexander believed in the same way as his mentor.

Cyrus was a just king. Bible spoke a great deal about him at how he freed the jews who were held captive in babylonia. He were also called a just leader who abolished slavery and he used to be called father of his people by ancient persians(which tells how caring he was towards his people). On the other hand Alexander was a also a great conqueror but he never had such great attributes associated to him. So my guess is Cyrus is dhul qarnayn who was the follower of persian prophet zoroaster who was a monotheist too. Alexander doesnt fit to these attributes of dhul qarnayn.

Oghuz Khan could also have been Dhul Qarnayn as Turks and Mogols also believed in the eternal sky god but Allah knows best.

Nope. Cyrus the Great. No doubt at all. In fact, Cyrus the Great had the title "Lord of the two horns" two horns referring to the two ethnic groups, Persians and Medians. Furthermore, the Cyrus the Great was a monotheist, the Zoroastrians are monotheists and back in the day, they were way more monotheistic, upon the true Tawheed. Furthermore, the question of "the one who travelled to the east and the west" was asked by a Jew to RasulAllah. Cyrus the Great is the only non Jew who is given the title of "Messiah" by the Jews. Finally, look at his conquests! He went East, he went West, and....he went to the North in the caucuses mountain range, the valley where the oppressed people lived, whose language they did not understand (Georgians. The Georgian language has absolutely NO language tree, no similarities at all) And finally, Cyrus really was a just ruler. He is acclaimed to be the first person to introduce the declaration of Human rights. He was known for his tolerance(just like Dhul Qarnyn)

Aisha is right this story is in surah Al Kahf. In Arabic, qarn can mean either horn or age. In the Quran, qarn does not mean a horn but rather an age. So Dul Qarnayn is the one who impacts two ages, one in the past and one in the future.

Dzul Qarnain means the "Two Horned" man. Most Muslim commentators and scholars agree that he was Cyrus the Great, the Persian king. He liberated the Jews from captivity and they had high honor and regards to him. Even in the Bible, in the Books of Daniel, there was a vision of a two horned ram. Cyrus was a monotheist and just king in ancient Persia.

Dhul Qarnin and Alexander the Great were two different Human Kings! Dhul Qarnin did rule 40 years and Alexander the Great did rule only 12 years. This is the clear evidence that Dhul Karnejn and Alexander the Great were two different people. Dhul Karnejn lived in the time of the Prophet Abraham 7000 or 8000 years ago and Alexander the Great lived only 2300 Years ago.
