I worked for Geneal Electric and at the time Jeff Emmelt was the CEO. I remembere him leaving the company and joining desktop metal on the board of directors. Desktop Metal has a lot of experienced people behind them and Im excited to see what they become in the coming years.

And this is why I’m a proud stock holder of DM. I’ll happily buy more at $1.20. I think they’ll be back at $10 a share when the market fully recovers

@budsmokerthc Yeah okay. I'm really lucky I stepped in later (after the downfall) but I keep believing in DM. They are slowly getting partnerships with big company's like Siemens. I hope their time will come, but it's just not yet.

Pretty glaring omission of Ric Fulop's previous involvement with Markforged prior to starting Desktop Metal - which became one of their biggest competitors. Several lawsuits followed that DM eventually lost. Company is fantastic at marketing and raising money - not so good on delivering great hardware.

True. But the lawsuits were settled with no demonstration of guilt by either party. There are several public releases explaining this.

I've worked in the deepest sector for this company and I can vouch and say that this management style which is currently in place is not and never will be sustainable

I'm finding it hard to believe metal 3D printer will produce parts cheaper than traditional molding. Especially with their business model. Add to that, the complex shapes they say are only possible through 3d printing, can be made with resins that burn away and are cheap. I'm just not seeing it at the moment.

True Their perception is wrong. They still think that without running the necessary CFD, you can get good results, there are just way too many variables that cannot be accounted for due to budget constraints in engineering and R&D. They just gutted ExOne engineering and r&d

I like this whole sector. Please cover NNDM I think they have much more upside potential than any other 3D printing company. They have 1.3 billion in assets with no debt and just had their first profitable quarter and are also doing a share buy back.

Poor management, no company end goals, scattered CAD data and mismanagement in technology and data transfer between companies, I cannot even begin to describe their internal HR management where at majority of the acquired companies, there was no physical HR present. Just the "HR" in Burlington. Regarding working for the company, it's just a matter of time till a new company takes over these poorly managed Ivy League pass outs.
