The Story of Anna, Diagnosed with Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA)

Ғылым және технология

Meet baby Anna and her mother, Kate.
Kate realized something wasn't quite right when Anna became more irritable and colicky, and also suffered from severe constipation and eczema.
She approached a paediatrician for advice and Anna was later diagnosed with Cow's Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA). An elimination diet was recommended for Anna, which involves eliminating cow’s milk proteins from the baby’s diet.
Cow's Milk Protein Allergy is one of the most common food allergies in young children and babies, and while the symptoms may cause alarm it is an easy condition to manage with the correct formula.
